Pavlik on PPV and vs a nobody...again...LAUGHABLE!

The usa is in a recession and redneck Pavlik thinks he can charge forty bucks to see him fight another bum.

The alternative is not being able to watch the fight at all. Deal with it. If you don't want to watch it, don't buy it. But the fight needed to be made, and no network was willing to buy it.

 

Not to mention none had the TV spot availabe. That's the most important factor. People are acting as if this is an major PPV that HBO schedules.

Of course. So that's why he threw out the list of four possible push-over opponents HBO gave him for a guaranteed $2m purse and a guaranteed date on HBO, and asked for Paul Williams instead. Obviously, he's ducking Mayorga!

 

To all you haters, this is a stay busy fight for Pavlik ... he's only fought once this year and needs to get another defense under his belt. I can be honest to tell you guys that no matter if you guys think its funny or not, there are going to be people tuning in to watch Pavlik fight. He has a solid fan base and will prove to be worth the 39.95 ... this fight is also featuring Humberto Soto making his lightweight debut and Vanes Martirosyan ... I think its going to be 4 or so solid fights.

 

Over all it's a pretty good card. I believe 3 of the 4 fights are world title fights.
