Very insightful input from the Real Deal. He sees the dynamics of the fight much like I do. Floyd thrives in a fight fought at a pace he dictates and picking his spots to fill the holes his opponents give him. In Pac he has a hyper active maelstrom with speed, power, unorthodox punching, and elusiveness of his own with the darting movement.

Win or lose we will see the best Floyd because Pac will definitely bring it to him. I just don't see him being able to outbox Floyd for extended periods. Floyd is the master boxer, so trying to outbox him is practically pointless.

I see a winning fight for Pac resembling Pryor-Arguello I. Pac using his unorthodoxy and crazy workrate to swarm with lots of punches from many angles while switching between boxing and brawling. The percentage of exchanging to boxing must be 75%-25% for Pac to win rounds and have a chance to hurt Mayweather with shots that slip past his defense(and their fair share will) Pac also has to return fire 4 to 1 for every shot Mayweather throws let alone catches him with. If Floyd can hurt him the fight gets even more interesting.

A winning scenario for Floyd asks for him to do something outside of his normal style: sit on his punches to really put some hurt on to punish Pac for the aggression he brings to every fight. I see his winning scenario being like Leonard-Hearns I. If he can hurt Pac he can take him out late if he breaks him down enough and then goes for it. Even then he has to be very careful because Pac goes out swinging(ie Morales-Pacquiao I) If he can't hurt Pac it's gonna be a long rough night because as impeccable as Floyd's skills are, Pac's combination of speed, unorthodoxy, power, workrate, and jittery movement(all which he retains late in fights) will not allow Floyd to ever be comfortable until the end of the fight.

He seems very sharp to me considering the countless wars he's been in. He sounds WAAAAY better than Riddick Bowe who I can hardly understand. Holy always had that stammering methodical southern speech so I think it's reaching to say he sounds real bad. It's something we unconsciously do to any boxer: we over analyse their speech and the slightest flaw we attribute to punch drunkeness.

Evander is the man...he seems coherent...he speech is a little slurred clearly...if he retires now, his health will probably be fine....a damn shame that he got robbed against Valuev...he clearly won the fight.

Evander actually sounds the best i've seem him of late; sounds lucid, and articulate. Thankfully. Should still retire though.

Void is counting on his referee, his judges, his commenatators (to tell the fans who is winning) his venue, his ring, etc. Even with that, I still give Pac a good chance of beating Void, who is a cheater.

Did the interviewer just come over to evander in the middle of eating his grits? For all my criticism of his inability to hang the gloves up, he still seems incredibly humble and classy.

Not outside his "normal style" whatsoever. Not when he's getting pressed or being threatened with a particularly hostile or menacing opponent. He stopped Hatton. He stopped Corrales. He stopped N'dou. He thrashed Gatti for trying to advance, he shredded Corley when he got stunned. If you want to get stopped by Mayweather go after him hard. Your chances will go up.

Keep in mind one thing Holyfield really emphasized. Those guys all gassed out.

They pretty much paced themselves out of the fight, and Floyd was just around to pick at the bones.
