Style wise, a prime Aaron Pryor at 140 would present some problems for Floyd. Even when Pryor got nailed he was still pretty difficult to discourage. Seeing him walk through Arguello's bombs, what could Floyd do to hold him off? At 135, Duran beats him for sure. It took Ray Leonard to finally end Duran's run , and that was at 147. Leonard was bigger, stronger, harder hitting , and almost, if not just as, fast as Floyd. Duran's foes at lightweight were better than Floyds (compare Esteban DeJesus and Ray Lampkin to Castillio and Jesus Chavez), and Roberto beat his top foes more convincingly than Floyd beat his.
Still, you have to be damn good for fans to have to look to the best in other era's to find you a competitive fight. Even fan's like me who dislike Floyd have to admit he could hold his own with anyone from any time.

:roflthat's what got me started. i had to take the best 154 pounder ever, which is a weight that floyd has no business at, to beat him.

No one would beat Floyd Mayweather i'm pretty convinced of that...Hearns maybe...Duran maybe...Pryor maybe...no one else...the style and skills of Mayweather would be too confusing...Floyd is truly one of a kind

come on big cat. SOME fighters are more likely to beat him than lose. hearns, leonard, duran would likely be favoured. not guaranteed (i was wrong to assume) but would be favoured to win

Maybe a prime Judah could beat him @ 140 as long as he's focused.

He knows how 2 beat rangy fighters. He beat Vernon(RIP) n da Ammies. As a pro he performed well too. I think his skill with POWER will etch him a W.
