    Mayorga by KO

He had all the necessary tools to beat Williams and a stylistic advantage plus conditioning.

PW is not KO'ing a prime Mayorga. No ****ing way. He might outland him and takea decision but if this fight ends by KOmits in Mayorga's favour

mayorga in his prime what he lacked in skills and defense he made up with will and a moment in time a rock solid chin. i don't think williams had the same one punch power forrest had, but i'll give him the benefit of the doubt. williams ud over mayo

^^agreed. I think if Williams is cautious he can win a UD but if he gets lured into brawling, Mayorga wins, too good a chin and too much power. Plus PW will leave himself open exchanging and he isnt too hard to find when he does.

I think if he is cautious he can box to a UD but there is no way he stops Mayorga

Mayorga seems to be our 4th inductee into the most overrated fighters on ESB quite a strange phenomenon.

i don't know about overrated, he did fight the best of his era and lose to most of them, but i'm sure he has his place. ken norton had ali's number and lost to most of the best as well.

all of them (oscar, shane, forrest, trinidad, and spinks) have said at one point he was a difficult and awkward style to fight against. i wouldn't say overrated, but he can't be underrated either. i'd say he's a worthy opponent who always had a puncher's chance vs. everyone.

    Mayorga by knockout.

Williams counts on his criminal judges from New Jersey to do his fighting for him.

Mayorga late KO, as much as it pains me to say it. Maybe PW by SD. Maybe.

Mayorga by KO. Williams does not fight tall. He needs to fight tall against Mayorga who is a power puncher and throws punches at wild angles that you sometimes won't see.

PW will land the more punches overall, but Mayorga will land the more damaging punches and will break him down late.
