Cheers great craic to be had having a birthday this time of the year. The world and his mother wants to go out for a gargle with you! Barry Flynn wrote it. 221 pages and a pretty ****ing big font. If the font was a normal size I'd say it would have been about 130 pages long. Its just really poor to be honest. It amazes me how such limited writers get books as lacking in quality or insight published while the real quality writers can't get a break. Its the same in most fields of sport but even more so in boxing. I'm doing my best to remember what site I got them off hitman. I'll go through the old credit card bills if needs be! I will think of it eventually
Sure I could make copies for you (if its not too complicated) and fire them on to you if the worst comes to the worst
cheers man....my da is into boxing big time....he use to have tapes of ali, hagler, leanard duran frazier, stracy, coneth, bruno, lewis, mcguigan and so on but in time with dvds coming in he has not had the same interests in collecting...so i might start him of with a few dvds for his birthday...if you can find that site it would be a great help
Wayne McCullough said he would fight the Hylands if the offer was right!!! He said he didnt know the lads-but he knows off them...if that clears up any earlier debate lads?
and did Wayne say what sort of 'offer' would be right ? I mean to be fair as big as Wayne used to be he can't be demanding a massive purse for a fight of that magnitude(I'm not saying that he is either). If Wayne is truly serious about a comeback he'd get himself a fight with some journeyman first and get his first win in over 5 years. If he did that people might take him a bit more seriously and actually look towards making fights with him. I love Wayne, but I hope he stays retired for his own good. But if the man wants to fight and he passes the medicals then there's nothing anyone can do to stop him :-( I did feel for him when the Kiko fight fell apart though.
Right anyone on here knows I have been crying out for the Hylands to step up. But this bull**** of McCullough saying the offer is right he will fight them, but in the same breath saying he doesn't really know who they are, tells me all I need to know. Wayne is looking for a payday (sorry Ardy, if he wants to take it up with me he can) pure and simple. I would love to see Pajo Hyland fight Wayne but my best guess is that Wayne will ask for too much cash. Hyland Senior hasn't the cash to bankroll an opponent and especially not for a non (irish) title fight. Its seems to be the usual bull****. I'll fight anyone for the right offer etc... The 'right offer' varies wildly depending on the level of opponent you face though. If he really is willing to make a fight against either Hyland I can't see Hyland Snr not making it
I taught it was Wayne who wanted a comeback fight??? So in all honesty why is it not him making the offers??? Id love to know what Wayne meant by "the right offer" or how much he is looking for.....
Do you really believe that though? Do you think literally no one in the world is willing to fight him? A man that hasn't won in half a decade and quit on his stool last time out. So when he says that everyone is ducking him do you actually believe him.
would the lads fight him?- he says he is looking for a fight why not ring him and ask him? Have to say its great we have so many possible fights to talk about- irish boxing is really growing
Right I'll be the sentimental slush fecker that starts this. This is the first place I come to when I log on. I cant stand the general ignorance that is pervasive throughout ESB but this thread is a bastion of sense, respect, knowledge and friendship. Because of this I thank you all and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy NewYear. This content is protected
