Its pretty obvious that when Fury makes statements like this he is doing so with tongue firmly stuck in his cheek...you've got to be daft to think otherwise.
Fury is best ignored, he constantly talks **** for cheap publicity. Everyone who has seen him fight can see he is very limited and will not go beyond domestic level. Hopefully he fights delboy soon, fatty had him on weird street so delboy will sort him out good and proper. His brother is also very limited and has the worst haircut seen in a British ring.
You say that, but this is exactly the same sort of **** that turned people against Audley Harrison. People will never take Fury seriously if he keeps spouting crap and it will only harm his career. Based on the Dermo fight, who the hell would want to buy tickets to watch Fury again anyway? To quote Ali: 'It aint bragging if you can back it up'. Well, on Fury's current form, he sure aint backing it up!
I think he's funny! the lad has a sense of humour and is just trying to sell himself. Some people should just laugh and move on, he's 22 and trying to make a name for himself in an increasingly poor division.
What do you expect a young fighter to say ?? 'Yeah im really limited and im going to get knocked out against anybody with any ability' .. Boxing is a confidence sport, he has to have confidence in himself, he mouths off way too much but it adds some interest. And to be fair to him he actually states, 'In my own head, i believe i can beat the Klitschkos', young fighters have to believe that they can one day be champion, otherwise whats the point in them putting in the grinding work .... This thread is just another, 'lets post a popular thread that will get alot of posts that agree with me' .... Im just waiting for another 'Froch is a ***** and hes ****' thread , they always get alot of agreeing posts ..
Boxing needs chaacters like Tyson .... good luck to the lad if his confidence matches his talent he will be world class.... Im a fan and theres so much improvement in this lad he could be special ....
