Former lightweight champ Juan Diaz talks about Mayweather-Pacquiao.

Juan Diaz is not to be confused with David Diaz, another former lightweight champion whom Manny Pacquiao defeated via 9th-round TKO.

Yeah, it's interesting that Diaz thinks Pac could be up on the cards heading into the later rounds.

Pacquiao doesn't jump in and out that much any more, which is a good thing against someone who can catch you on the way in like PBF. (On the other hand, standing in the middle of the ring leaves you ripe to be out-boxed more generally.)

Pacquiao has to apply pressure, though.

It does make sense, if you do go out to KO Pacqiuao, or u do go out to brawl with Pac man, you get caught, like Marquez in his first fite KD 3 times then changed his approach to being more cautious.

ODLH same thing came out trying to bulldoze a smaller Pac, but got a shock, Hatton same thing only way he knows how to fight come out and pressure pac and he got KTFO.

the cotto fight showed this more detail, Cotto came out the bigger man pressures Pac, then gets caught twice KD. then Cotto fights on the back foot but the damage is already done to Cotto by then.

Mayweather got caught a few times by corley when he brawled with that southpaw, so it is likely

But Mayweather probably gonna play it smart and just try and box his way around Pac

I don't envision Floyd actively going for the knockout; even if he is behind on the score cards.

Juan Diaz must still be dazed off of that Paul Malignaggi uppercut ... Floyd has never shown desperation, never been reckless, and never worries about the scorecards.

He has seen a fighter like Manny before and he'll be prepared. Juan Diaz doesn't know what he's talking about ... he's never been in the ring with either fighter so how does he know what their tendencies are going to be? ... I can't see either fighter making too many reckless mistakes ... it's going to be tacticle and the only fighter I see getting desperate and leaving himself open, by lunging in is Pacquiao ...

Diaz is correct with what Pacquiao will try to do. In and out with speed angles and combos.

The question remains...will Pacquiao accept getting tagged on a few occasions over and over again, so that he can unleash his own ?

If Pacquiao can relentlessly do so, then he will truly surprize me and definitely all of the Mayweather fan club on this site !

If Pacman had comparable reach and height with the exact same skills and speed, then it would be a no brainer for me to pick him...

I'm a skeptic but I sure want to be proven wrong !!!

Roach does not come out with the same fight plan everytime!
If you follow boxing news he indicated that they will have a fight plan for Floyd.
