It lasted not even 2 full rounds, I cant personally consider a performance "great" if the fight only last 6 minutes, I dont care how brutal the KO was. Also considering that it was Ricky "easy to hitman" Hatton, doesnt really make this a great performance.

There is a strong case for Pacquiao on three occasions:

    1. Pacquiao v De la Hoya

    2. Pacquiao v Hatton

    3. Pacquiao v Cotto

The man is phenomenal, apart from the transgression with that actress.

At the top of my head, I'd have to say Pacquiao's performance against Cotto is if not the best performance of the decade, it is definitely in the top three or so. A month later, I think people still don't understand exactly what that man accomplished on November 14th.

I never thought Pacquiao should have been the favorite. He was going against someone who was bigger, stronger, way more experienced at the weight, and most importantly, someone who had survived against some of the decade's toughest fighters in Mosley, Judah, and Clottey. What damage could Pacquiao's scrawny ass possibly do?

Pacquiao beat Cotto down in a way even the much larger Margarito couldn't do. Pac did what Shane Mosley couldn't do, and that is saying quite a bit...I'm not gonna go on and on about it, even though I could...

Hopkins over Trinidad was also notable.

Floyd whupped his ass for sure, but Gatti wasn't known for his chin. Heart, yes, chin, no. Mayweather hit Arturo with everything in his arsenal, and couldn't drop him...except for that cheap shot in the 1st.

I think Pacquiao will only get appreciated for his talents in 15 - 20 years time. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

If we define performance by pure ALL AROUND skills, then bernard has to take this, closely followed by pacman

    1. Bernard Hopkins KO Felix Triniad. Bhop made trinidad looks terrible, stayed relatively clean and completely whooped Trinidad who had made the jump from 154 to 160.

    2. Manny Pacquiao TKO Miguel Cotto. Not no.1 cause manny took some shots from cotto(no problem taking them however), he just completlely outskilled the guy.

    3. Bernard Hopkins UD Kelly Pavlik. Like the trinidad fight, butobviously kelly is not as good as Felix.

4.Shane Mosley KO Antonio Margarito. He looked good baby. Comes in with **** from his wife, past steroid use - dosen't matter ; he just makes margarito take shots after shots with a completely smooth style.

5.Marco Antonio Barerra UD Naseem Hamed. Although his last 3-4 opponents had been better and it had shown, Hamed was still top of the game and MAB completely, utterly crushed him and sent him flying all over the ring.

Other notables: Pacquiao KO Oscar, Bhop vs Tarver, Bute vs Andrade II,

You are just a plain and simple *******. How in the **** can you call Pac v Cotto the best performance of the decade? And how did Pac do what Margarito couldnt? Loaded gloves or not he still beat the ****ing **** out of him, worse than Pac ever could have. There is no way in ****, that Cotto was ever going to win that fight. He hasnt got the good to beat Pac, and never will.

Cotto is good, not great. You talk Pac up at every chance you get whilst slam Floyd, time to pull his **** out of your arse, its getting boring.

PBF vs Chico was as good as it gets period. Two undefeated pound 4 pound fighters getting it on, only to see PBF put class in session.

Sorry, when I said he did everything right inside and outside of the ring, I meant the psychology he used in order to gain whatever advantage he could. I agree, B-Hop will never be confused with being a gentleman. However, you cannot deny his ability with mind games.

I'm still very impressed by what Manny did against Cotto. I just added this fight to my collection. I mean, I knew he'd win, and knew he'd win by tko, however I did not think he would make it look easy. ****, he did what Margarito, Clottey, and Mosley couldn't do, which is to make Cotto look like a bad boxer. That was abso-muther****en-lutely incredible!
