Duran because he was fantastic. But for his agressiveness I always like hagler.

Hagler-Duran was not a draw or even that close. Clear win for Hagler.

Hearns had a competitive 90 seconds against Hagler before getting walked down for 2 and a half rounds.

No chance last 2 rounds 1 went to duran other was level therefore duran should have got win.

Look at his performance against davey moore as well, the bigger the fight the better the performance with the exception of hearns

Hagler at middleweight I agree with Gaz Oc was a great fighter and that fight with hearns was brilliant trading toe to toe for three rounds.

Duran was considered a shot fighter v hagler and went up 2 middleweight against marvin and should have got decision, no doubt, hagler knew it because he got all he could handle, he could not dominate inside, could not dominate outside, could not take out a natural lightweight so hth means zero. leonard struggled with hearns twice, hagler robbed duran, hearns destroyed duran, duran whipped leonard fight 1 then called no mas fight 2, p4p i like duran, he could have stayed lightweight and dominated but he did not he stepped up and fought legends above his natural weight, end of story

Not even the biggest Duran fans on here (and there are a lot!!) think he won the Hagler fight.

I think Leonard's records proves he was the best. Duran's record was the worst against the 4. I think Duran was overrated in his career. Hearns was probably the most underrated. And Hagler goes down about right. The knock on Marvin was that he never really beat an ATG moving up in weight like the other guys did.

Duran won like 4 rounds, maybe 5 against Hagler. Those judges were drunk and gave him way too many rounds, just like they did a year earlier when he fought Benitez and one idiot had Benitez ahead by 1 point after 15. Hagler-Duran is perhaps the most overrated "close" fight ever.

That said, Duran probably gets the edge over the other 3 due to his whole career, particularly the fact that he, among with Monzon, was the greatest fighter of the 70s, and a top 2 lightweight (a traditional division rich in history) of all-time.

Leonard would be in the 2nd spot, followed by Hagler, then Hearns.

I always thought Hearns was underrated and Duran overrated. Hearns win against Virgil Hill is better than any of Duran's wins at lightweight.

I think honestly it has to be Leonard in head to head matchups. He beat them all. That was impressive. Although Ray had the least fights in his career only 40.

Hearns is often remembered unfairly as a "loveable loser", for the losses to Hagler and Leonard. I've even heard people compare Fernando Vargas to Hearns. Yeah Hearns lost to Marvin & Ray, and Tommy also beat Cuevas, Hill, Duran, and Benitez.
