Sky coverage for big fights is balls anyway. Every fight is the same for them. I wouldn't mind this being on Primetime, Buncey in the studio and hopefully HBO commentary.

Mayweather doesnt deserve to share a limo with a legend like Kerr.

    Amen.

Really hope this isn't true. Not just because the primetime crew are a bunch **** up merchants either, but because this could be a big event in this country, capable of pulling in the casual fans and garnering boxing some of the attention and respect that it deserves in the mainstream. Sky promote the **** out of their ppv fights so well that you know this will be the case.

If it ends up on primetime however, then it will just fly by without anyone but the hardcore boxing community noticing. Much like the super 6 tourny. That was a huge opportunity to garner mainstream recognition for boxing in this country that has now been lost. The concept would have pulled people in, but primetime are so obscure that hardly anyone but us guys are even aware that the tournament is going on.

Sky will make sure they do whatever required to acquire the rights to show this fight!

Floyd-Pacman is a blockbuster & Sky know that! I cannot wait for the 24/7 shows for this one!

I don't see it happening tbh, but I wouldn't be too worried about it. The Sky commentators are all style over substance and their PBF nut-huggery just gets my goat. Johnny Nelson with his "Mayweather is the greatest fighter since Sugar Ray Leonard" bull****... he'll be calling PBF the GOAT if he ****ing wins.

PrimeTime will be cheaper as well, if less reliable.

I really hope this is on Sky no offense to Primetime but having it on Sky would be good for the sport in the UK. Sky have their flaws but if there is one thing you just cannot say about them it is that they don't know how create hype and attention for an event and the reality is that Primetime just won't be able to build even 1/50th the attention and hype that Sky would be able to.

Yes give me HBO anyday:good + yer can really taste the atmosphere with roar of the crowd unlike SKY who mute the backgound sound out so Jim & ****** can here themselves in high definition. I've just watched Pac/Cotto & it sounded like a church service.

I was at the fight & it was absolute screaming mayhem but it don't come across like that on SKY + those pricks chopped out all the intro's that were going on with Duran/Chavez/Hearns all up on that incredible round screen over the ring which showed them in action, talk about getting yer pumped up & all SKY did was go back to the ****in studio to listen to those 3 yes-men (Nelson's OK) Watt/Smith, McCrory & Piper just don't cut it compared to the HBO teams.
