I think that Pavlik should fight 3 time in 2010. First he needs to fight Williams because the punisher has never been in the ring with someone his own size. Then he needs to unify with Sturm in the summer. Finaly he should fight Daniel Jacobs, I know that Jacobs is not well known but he is a Golden boy fighter and needs to be in the ring with someone with power. If Pavlik could beat these 3 he would really get a lot of respect.:bbb
I don't disagree. Williams to get some cash in the bank, an easy victory and some rep restored. Sturm for solid unification and legacy enhancement. And then start taking apart the prospects.
Williams and Sturm are the top two priorities. Jacobs needs 5 or 6 more fights before he is ready. There is a whole crop of European contenders coming up, and some of them are fighting each other. Whoever comes out looking the best should be Pavlik's 3rd opponent.
I just wanna see him fight Williams. Even after his fight with Martinez, I still think that he's got what it takes to beat Pavlik.
Charging forward throwing arm punches while getting hit in the face is not the way to beat KP. So, no, Williams does not have what it takes.
1. Williams : gets him respect and some money 2. Kill James Degale, doesnt really do much, but will get love from some UK fans 3. Unification with Sturm 4. beat up some contenders
Regrettably, Degale fights at 168. However, I'd love to see anybody lay him out. In his last fight he was trying to switch-hit and pull the philly shell.
Winner of Williams v Martinez rematch (Should happen) Felix Sturm. Gennady Golovkin. Winner of Macklin/Pirog. I'd like to see him take on all these guys.
