It won't happen because both men know they can lose. If you go by weigh:height ratio Peter is fatter but he carries his weigh far better than Arreola. Peter is just a natural big boy whereas Arreola is a fat kid.

What the hell is going on with Sam Peter if this guy is mocking his power? Bruce Seldon knocked Brown out earlier this year. This guy has been knocked out four other times besides that! By Arron Lyons, Lance Whitaker, Saul Montana in the first round and Etienne. And he's mocking Sam Peter's power? Come on, ffs. What's the deal?

    Hey Guys,

Its always good to see a Fightnews posting on ESB. The Brown fight was unreal. Peter was in fantastic shape and spent a lot of time in rd. 1 throwing looping haymakers, Brown ate them with no problem.

The bolo punches from Brown came in the round two, and he actually landed a baseball-pitcher style uppercut right on the button which froze Peter a bit. The place was going wild.

Brown raised his arms out to the side and let Peter tee off with four left hooks. He stuck his chin out and said "come on!" Peter looked awesome but he just couldn't move the man mountain.

Brown was hit clean with four bombs in the fourth and went down like a falling tree. For all intents and purposes it should've ended, but Brown stood up and raised his arms triumphantly to the crowd. The place was deafening. After the ten second clapper Peter jumped on Brown and Randy Jarvis stopped the fight with two seconds left.

Judging by the outcry from fans you would've thought it was the Chavez-Taylor stoppage. Brown said he wants Butterbean next. Great show.

Thanks guys, the full fight detail will be in my report. Keep reading Fightnews.

    Thanks!

That is because Peter's power is way overrated. He has not KOed any of the upper tier fighters he has fought and was carefully matched early in his career with a bunch of Glass Jawed opponents to make it seem like he was a KO artist.

Like my son said, it was more comic relief than a boxing match. The outcome was never seriously in doubt. "Big G" mugged to the crowd and ate leather for it.

I'd love to see that. Peter has power but it's overrated power. Boytsov has great handspeed, combo's and better 1 punch power. Peter does have a good chin though so i'd be a interesting fight.

I'v always wated to see Peter vs a true puncher like Platov or Virchis. God i'd love to see Peter vs either of those 2. Both those guys are limited but i think that what they do have is enough for Peter. Plus both hit waaay ****ing harder.

Agreed. He does have some though, nowhere near what is claimed though.

Actually, I'd say bad job! The fact that Peter has fought a guy such a Brown shows he cannot have no aspirations to make it even near the top of the HW division ever again, let alone be champion again!

Bouts like these are a joke. How is a guy such a Gabe Brown even permitted a license?
