Just about every 'big' fight Sky has shown in the past month or two has just been listed in this thread.

Haskins was awful, shocking fight night. Smalls fight was suicidal to watch. Saying that I prefer that to no boxing at all and Sky has stepped up the boxing with title fights as well so overall they've done well!!

It's been a great season overall but unfortunately things started to go downhill rather rapidly towards the end of 2009. Hatton-N'Dou wasn't much cop, but Broadhurst-Haskins, Small-McDonagh and Smith-Quigley were all worse. Those were truly terrible terrible fights. Friday night's show wasn't up to much either and the light welter prizefighter was disappointing.

A shame, because Friday Night Fights had been in superb form until recently.

There were some pretty poor fights this year but because it was most recent the Haskins-Broadhurst debacle. Jebus it was poor. The shouldnn't be let back on a tv bill until they both learn how to box properly

Im very glad I was busy for both the Haskins-Broadhurst and Small-McDonagh fights! Still havent seen them and dont intend too :yep

But Sky have generally done a very good job on FNFs this year so fair play to them :good

Overall I'd say it's been a good season, Sky have certainly upped their game, but the last six weeks have put a downer on things.

They need to make sure they keep pressing the promoters to make good fights..... I've no doubt that it was political to put Matthew Hatton as a headliner, quite what this Friday was all about I'm not sure, to be honest.

It isn't Sky's fault when the main bout stinks the place out. It is Sky's fault when the undercard is pitiful.

The only thing that pleased me about the Matthew Hatton fight was there was no hometown decision given...:good. But I thought he did enough in the late rounds to win the contest...:yep

What pissed me off was how he handled himself whilst been interviewed after the fight...He showed no humility whatsoever... He should have took a leaf out of Jamie Moore's book after his defeat by Ryan Rhodes...:yep

When Ricky Hatton fights again... cos he will...I wonder which World Title Matthew will be fighting for...:barf
