Hate is a strong word, but I absolutely can't stomach..... Floyd Mayweather and Butterbean come to mind. Don't get me wrong, I love Mayweather as a boxer. I don't like how he picks on the smalls guys i.e. Hatton, Marquez, Pacman, and ducks the real welters, i.e. Mosley, Williams, Margarito etc. And Butterbean is just a joke to boxing. The former IBA SUPER Heavyweight Champion. The King of the 4 rounders.
what do you mean by......fun? both his fights with taylor and pascal are in the "fun" category, and by fun I mean, slugfest.
James Toney; a generally obnoxious human being from my POV. Kevin Johnson; for obvious reasons atm. Can't think of anyone else at this point. I just dislike fighters who talk **** but fail to deliver. I don't like to hear fighters bang on about their god too much either, its something that annoyed me about Hamed but was the only thing really Oh and fighters who tamper with their gloves :twisted:
The only I fighters I would say I "hate" are pieces of **** like Tony Ayala, Jo-El Scott, or fighters that commit unforgivable sins in terms of boxing like Antonio Margarito. Fighters of recent years that I usually rooted against would be: Vitali Klitschko- I just hate his ugly style Joe Calzaghe- see above Naseem Hamed- his antics and taunting just annoyed me Kermit Cintron- the Martinez fight was bad enough. His stupid little dance afterwards was the last straw. Antonio Tarver- I hated his nonstop whining after losing a fair decision to Roy Jones in which he blew his chance. I like him as a commentator though. Winky Wright- nothing really against him, but most of the time in recent years, he's just happened to be facing someone whom I preferred more.
Not hate but I dislike Mayweather, his general attitude is annoying, and there were fights I wanted to see that never happened. Cintron. Crying and screwing Martinez out of a win (stupid ref). Campbell. Cries, whines, complains, talks ****. Kevin Johnson. Taunting... while losing every round? Not fighting AT ALL? And talk **** like you are? More but I'm bored already .
Hate's a strong word... there are a lot of fighters whose styles I think are boring or whose resumes are inflated or who are overrated... but the only fighters I can think of whose personalities or misdeeds i actually dislike are Floyd and Margarito.
I wouldnt say hate, but surely i would say "dislike". Zab Juddah - An example would be on youtube. It shows the guy gambling on the streets and sucker punching another guy cuz the guy beat him. ****ing classless. Thank goodness he likes playing with matches. Michael Moorer - Trying to always implement his way or the highway attitude. It's the reason Roach kicked him out the wildcard. And always quietly bullying/intimidating smaller guys with his bull****. Hey michael, David Tua says hi. Carl Froch - Constantly slagged off Calzaghe, and is now doing to Khan. Badmouthed a fighter when everyone knew he was given a home town decision. I know imma get flamed for this one but...Bernard Hopkins. Dude was classelss mofo. Dropping somones flag is as low as you can get, and then claiming that "No white boy can beat me" **** was just stupid. He is a great fighter though.
1) de la hoya- Was handed everything, including his gold medal on a silver platter. Hes a closet homosexual, and he never stepped up to the plate in the big fights. Terribley overrated! 2) ricardo mayorga-No talent ass clown who totally got lucky in his first fight with forrest. Clearly lost the 2nd fight and took a dive in the de la hoya fight. 3) vic darciniyan- arrogant piece of **** who is just strong with limited skills. Hard to watch. Drops his right everytime he comes in. 4) lennox lewis- lost to mercer and as much as he got robbed in the 1st holy fight, the 2nd fight was just as bad as a robbery. **** commentary. 5) arturo gatti- boring style in my opinion and was the most protected champ. HBO consistantly handed gatti guys they knew he could beat. 6) roy jones- ducked hopkins after there first meeting. 7) paul williams- sloppy as **** and the judges seem to favor his volume punching whether they land or not. 8) joe calzaghie- punched air and was frustrated all night by hopkins, then said you got your ass kicked by a whiteboy when hopkins face was clean. 9) chavez jr- BUM 10) Chris aerreola- classless slob of a bum. 11) Margachito
