Out of those guys he was clearly beaten twice. One Hop by a big middleweight who went for a recored 20 title defenses. The second Pac at an advanced physical state where he was a part time fighter and just didn't have the grit against a very hungry p4p no 1.

 

No because he lost his big fights. You have to win the big fight to be an ATG.

Had Oscar beat Pac that would have been way worse for him in the way he is remembered than had he won.
Oscar went into this fight with the most cryptic attitude I ever seen in him, saying he was in a lose/lose position.

Who didn't see the PBF win over JMM coming? I have posted over and over on how that fight was a mismatch prior to it happening.

Back to DLH. DLH saw it as easy money and an easy win. 20 million dollars will make a man do lots of strange things. Had he won it woudn't have done anything to his resume because everyone was expecting a DLH win.

Absolutely not. He was handed everything on a silver platter starting in the olympics and never stepped up in the big fights.

 

There aren't many ATG's in the past 15-20 years in boxing period. With less fanfare, Winky and Forrest were much better fighter's than Mosley, Trinidad, and De La Hoya and no one considers them to be ATG's. Those three boxers are good hall of fame fighters but not ATG's.

 

Of course he's an ATG. He won titles in 6 weight class and beat many good fighters on his way up.

Both Whitaker and Chavez were Ole men and Vargas had already been brutally KO'ed by Tito. Plus, Whitaker made DLH look like a rank amature.

Not the kind of stuff here that makes one an ATG fighter...
