I'd only want to see the best of the best so at present I'm talking...

...Penn, GSP, Silva, Machida and Lesnar. I would also include the top 2 contenders of each weight class. Throw in Nog, Mir, Rua, Evans, Belfort, Marquadt, Alves, Koscheck, Edgar and Maynard.

That would be fun.

So you would get to see Vitor Belfort/Anderson Silva/Marquart or hell even Carwin, Cain or Lesnar vs Florian/Edgar/BJ.

I couldnt watch it it would be like blood sport, just a brutal domination.

A good point!! Brock Lesnar/Shane Carwin versus someone like Frankie Edgar?? Did Pride actually have an "Open weight" tournament? I thought theirs was under 200lbs and over 200lbs! I remember their Heavyweight/middleweight Grand Prix's, they were very enjoyable. I suppose a case could be made for separate tournaments at the different weights were it not for the fact that the 155/170/185 divisions are ruled by such dominant champions! Given the current situation at heavyweight I would be in favour of a heavyweight tournament, that could prove very successful! And a 205 tournament would undoubtedly prove very competitive.

:good The Japanese love those "Freak" fights. Like that 7 foot Chinese guy Fedor fought (WHY champ, WHY?) Choi I think his name was.

 

Quick endings and they can move on to the next stage. I'm blood thirsty. This is why I love all combat sports and think football and formula 1 is for girls.
