Cotto was a pretty healthy underdog in that Pacquiao fight. Many also said he was damaged goods before the fight. He may have been damaged goods, but he could never beat Pac. He just doesn't have the skillset.

Cotto's skillset is very good. Pac is just something else.

Cotto doesn't have the neccerary skills to beat a fighter like Pac. Cotto is basically a one handed fighter who lacks speed, and defense. Pac is fast, sharp, accurate, and has very good footwork. Pac basically set up shop right on Cotto's left hip. For a guy like Cotto who needs to be able to plant to get good power on his left hook, that made it almost impossible for him to be effective with that punch. Being that Cotto's right hand is relatively weak, Pac could fire off multiple punch combos without having to worry about any return fire. When they did get into exchanges, Cotto was too slow and defensively challenged to get the best of them. Coto is a good fighter, but he was overrated. Look how Clottey just abused him in the middle of the ring. It was a good win for Pacquiao, but anyone who followed both of their careers closely saw that coming.

Why should Pacquiao get credit for fighting an over-the-hill Mayweather who had to come out of retirement to-...No, it's okay, I'm just playing.

I'm a huge Mayweather fan, and I already believe Pac is unreal. If he beats Floyd, not only will I NOT make excuses, I will be even more amazed at just how good Pac has become.

These 2 great athletes should be on their best forms come March 13th. There should be no excuses from either side (barring controversial judges scoring). Excuses are for losers.

If PBF wins no excuses?, PLEASE man.

Mayweather didn't even win yet and we see size, experience, not enough time to train and everything you can find over there already.

lets talk about the excuses pac fans have made for his losses:

    - " Manny is a more complete fighter now"
    - " Manny was only 19 when he got knocked out"
    - " Manny hasn't lost in X number or fights.. etc.."

now lets talk about the excuses Floyd fans make for his losses:

oh wait Floyd hasn't lost a fight.. hmm.. I can see why this douchebag feels that Floyd fans make excuses for losses..

He did not look good against Clottey. That is not an excuse, it's a fact. Pacquiao was favored against Cotto. I guarantee you that if Mayweather schools Pacquiao, he will not get any props from Pac fans.

Unfortunately, If Floyd does lose, he unfairly would be treated by history as no better that his Uncle Roger. He will have very little legacy.
