Depends what drug you use and how long it stays in your system. Some leave your system quicker, some stay longer. You end your cycle so it's out of your system by the week of the fight, as the benefits come during training. Or you can take Deca like the genius James Toney did, which stays in your system for a year.

One thing is for sure, Pacquiao can retire today the greatest of this generation, Mayweather can't even if he fights and beats Mosley and others he might not win that position. Like Roach said, Mayweather needs them more and it's the truth so they better agree. This blood testing demands is pure nonsense and disrespect as I'm sure EVERYONE knows Pac is clean.

 

Refer to my post#3, this is boxing, they have rules and boxing commissions to implement those...pac has passed all the tests used not only to pac but also to all other fighters...

From what I've read on here, a few people aren't getting it.

Usually when an athlete takes performance enhancing drugs it's done out of season or during training - allowing the athlete to train with much higher intensity and get to a much higher level of physical fitness than would be naturally achievable.

As the event or season approaches, the athlete stops taking the drug and allows it to get out of his system so that he's clean.

When Mayweather's team asks for a blood test 30 days before the fight, they're guessing they'll catch Pacquiao mid-course.

So why are people getting upset? This is professional sport and Mayweather has a right to know whether his opponent is being dishonourable and doping.
