I get that. I'm saying that Team Mayweather chose 30 days to cover the whole spectrum of tactics. If Pac takes PED's during training, the test will catch that just as it would pre-fight.

When I read interviews with Roach who continually changes the subject away from blood testing to urine testing - something looks strange.

Have a read of this from the World Anti Doping Agency:

"When was a test to detect EPO implemented?
A test for EPO was introduced at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney (Australia). The test, validated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), was based on the blood and urine matrix. A blood screening was performed first, and a urine test was then used to confirm possible use of EPO.

"In June 2003, WADA’s Executive Committee accepted the results of an independent report stating that urine tests alone can be used to detect the presence of recombinant EPO. This report, requested by WADA’s stakeholders and commissioned by the Agency to evaluate the validity of urinary and blood tests for detecting the presence of recombinant EPO, concluded that urinary testing is the only scientifically validated method for direct detection of recombinant EPO.

"This report also recommended that urine testing be used in conjunction with blood screening for a variety of reasons, including the cost savings of performing blood screening prior to testing urine. Some international sports federations still use both urine and blood matrix for the detection of EPO. Recently, the urine test was adapted to blood to perform detection of some new erythropoiesis stimulating agents."

sorry to add yet another thread about this topic, but heres something relevant. If Pacquiao were to come out tommorow filipino time and address the media speaking his piece, maybe we can get some resolution here. As of now Arum is talking, Roach is talking, Schaefer is talking.....EVERYONE IS TALKING EXCEPT THE FIGHTERS!!!!!! If Pac were just to address the media, explain his worries, doubts, or lack thereof we can get far more progress than if we just let these talking heads continue to babble, anyone agree?

Take the tests, earn myself 50 million dollars, and potentially place myself among the absolute best of all time.

Can't see how anybody would approach it in any other way... when acting reasonably.

I said it then and I'm going to say it again. All these nonsense is nothing but your typical Floyd Mayweather Jr. smoke.
    What did I tell you?

. In case you haven't noticed, Mayweather does most of his work with his mouth and working the media rather than really just lacing his gloves up against the best competition available.
Forget that he avoided Antonio Margarito, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto and Paul Williams right?! Mayweather never runs out of excuses, mind games, propaganda and trash talk to cover up the truth.
    And the truth is?
    This content is protected
. Just sign the contract already Floyd!
All these media posturing, press releases and trash talk is just cheapening, not only himself, but the sport of boxing as well. First it was the venue, then it was the weight, and now what? Steroids? Again? Has the sport really sunk so low to allow the biggest fight of the decade to be controlled by Floyd Mayweather Sr.? Luckily it isn't and Bob Arum is right to suggest to simply dump these clowns.

, "The press release is absurd. Mayweather proves that he's a coward and he's looking for a way out of the fight. The Nevada commission has been doing drug testing for the last 40 years. To appease Mayweather, we agreed they could do urine analysis anytime they wanted. But Manny doesn't want them to draw his blood when he's in training because it weakens him," Arum said in an article published by USAToday.
I respect Floyd's skill as a boxer, but as a warrior and a fighter, the man is a ducker. He does his fighting in the media and with his mouth and just as Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach said in

, "He's just looking for a way out of the fight. He is scared, and he's just afraid that he's going to get his ass kicked. We don't work for Floyd Mayweather. We fight for the state commission, since when does the fighter make up the rules?"
Let him run Manny. Mayweather isn't worth it. You don't need him. Your legacy is set, and his, unfortunately for him, stands as one of the most talented fighters ever who chose not to fight the best fighters of his era.
Personally, I am sick of Mayweather's cheap tactics just like how he had that bogus rib injury to push his fight back, then coming in over the weight limit for his fight against Marquez giving him added advantage over a man who is already smaller and handicapped as it is.
This whole Olympics steroid testing is a joke. Actually, Pacquiao already agreed to Mayweather's unnecessary demands and was willing to get his blood drawn a month before the fight and after the fight. If he indeed has any banned substance in him, they can be traced and detected by a test after the fight. Actually, The Nevada State Athletic Commission has a very efficient drug testing as it is. All Mayweather is doing is simply finding ways to further get an edge and discredit Pacquiao's reputation. All it really tells me is that Mayweather is afraid to fight Pacquiao and will do everything he can to destroy him and avoid being destroyed by him in the ring.
It's really cheap, sad and pathetic. Fight fans aren't stupid. This press release from GBP didn't come unexpected on my end however. Like I reported back then, Mayweather was simply bluffing. I got from people around Mayweather that he was training and preparing to fight in England possibly against Matthew Hatton then a day after they release a statement on ESPN saying he agreed to fight Pacquiao? You got to understand, press releases from Team Mayweather should not be taken as news. They are statements from Mayweather's camp.
Screw the mind games, just sign the contract Floyd. Everyone in boxing abides by the same rules and regulations, and by saying the same tests NSAC does for every boxer and fighter that comes in to fight in Nevada isn't good enough for you, then I guess you should have just stayed retired. What is Mayweather really trying to say? That boxing is a dirty sport? I'm afraid his ego and perhaps the paranoia he has inherited from his dad has gotten the best of him.
Fighters fight. And the funny thing is, Mayweather is worried about all these things against a smaller guy. He throws the word fairness, yet he himself could not honor his catchweight contract against Marquez in September. I told you I didn't want to be Johnny Raincloud when the world was thinking the superfight was finally happening, and I've said it before and I'll say it again, barring any last minute "courage" from Floyd, he does not intend to fight Pacquiao on March 13. Expect talks of Mayweather fighting in Europe to resurface. So if I were you, I'll just leave Floyd alone if he wants to fight smaller and over-matched opponents. Pacquiao is simply too big, too good and too dangerous for Floyd right now.

Early today Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, was contacted by Top Rank President Todd duBoef, who informed Schaefer that Pacquiao would not agree to have his blood taken within 30-days of the bout based on the fighter’s superstition of testing so close to a fight.

Why do you insist that Pac doesn't want to take the blood test? There are a lot of articles stating that Pac is willing to take blood tests but it seems that you don't remember them. Why is it so? :think
