lol@these floyd nuthuggers thinking the test will reveal something. I want this test to be done so it can shut up the idiot nuthuggers and nonbelievers, but what mayweather is asking is ridiculous. Having a chance of there being a drug test a day before the fight is just ridiculous. Floyd is a coward for making these demands;just look at his record it's written on it..

I don't have a problem with the concept of random blood testing, but I do have the problem with Team Mayweather pushing it so hard: it undermines the current testing policy in place and brings every fight in Nevada's recent history into question by saying the current policy isn't trustworthy. I'll let the Mayweather backers deal with the consequences of that, but let's just say treating one innocent fighter like he's guilty and stepping outside the typical chain of command doesn't set a healthy precedent.

Also, I have a problem because fight negotiations are typically a give and take process, and it looks like Pac's the one having to do all the giving because Mayweather won't accept the blood test the day after the fight. Why should he go out of his way to agree to all of Mayweather's demands on this issue when his reputation has already suffered by all the steroid talk coming out of Mayweather's camp? Pac's done nothing that would justify testing above and beyond the current protocols- and even those who are red flags aren't subjected to it. Jermain Taylor and Wlad would have more cause to ask for Olympic style testing because Ward and Chambers hired BALCO's main man Victor Conte, but I doubt they'll do it.

No one in the history of boxing has ever been subjected to this kind of testing. EVER. Why should Pac be subjected to it.

Mayweather Sr is a genius at mind games, saying that Pac was on drugs and planting the seed of doubt and now this.

    Don't believe a word.

I dont know if its true or not....but I have heard about people not feeling well right after blood was drawn from them.......so I could see why Roach would have a problem with a day before......but I dont see why he would have a problem as long the fighters have at least a few days to recover if they get sick immediately right after having blood drawn.

He'll still be 100%. It's just a blood test, and could still be potentially over a week (or more) before fight time.

The testing will effect both fighters the same, regardless of whether Pac fought more recently. That effect will be very minimal, if anything at all.

So let's agree and get it on.

true.. if they will draw out blood the day before the fight, pac will not be 100% on fight night.

if these floydboys wants their idol to be tested skillwise, they should consider pacs conditioning on fight night and pac must be 100% so if floyd wins, it means their idol is far more greater boxer than pac.

A test after or right before the fight is pretty meaningless when it comes to many types of performance enhancing drugs that are uses in training. That's why no Eats German athlete ever failed a drug test, because they were monitored and knew when to cycle out. Also, there are drugs to mask or eliminate steroids in the system. Steroids are not short - term stimulants, they help athletes to train harder and add muscle mass and explosive strength, not somethin anyone needs a week prior to a fight.
