Should be the commission. It is expensive. Thats why i was asking if the commission lost its credibility regarding drug test. because if not, then all of these rumors wont be necessary. They should just proceed with the usual. If so, then amend their rules, and implement it strictly, not because it was specifically requested.

You dont change the ball game just like that because you feel it will suit you better.

Surely the argument of 'if he takes a blood test x days before he'll be weakened by the fight' is nulled by the fact that PBF will be taking a blood test at the same time as well?

All this superstitious talk sounds a bit skeptical imo.

Fair enough he may not like needles but its the biggest fight of modern times, biggest payday.

I didn't believe for a second Manny was on steroids (how could you, look at his happy wee face) but if the fight is ruined over this, then I'll start to question him.

And I'm no Floyd fan, I think he's a ***** for avoiding so many big fights in the past, but there you go.

    Cheers

no need, hatton aint a suspected drug cheat. Manny is, and his refusal will damage his image in the long run.

That's exactly what i meant. The olympic doping agency can not be told when to do the tests.

I think we should also consider why Pac wanted to be tested just NOT a day or 2 before the fight. Heck they can collect blood right after or the day after if they want.

It will give you the same results anyway.

Why not? Because most people are ignorant regarding the testing of substance metabolites & their halflives.

edit: Hair follicle testing can reveal trace substances over the span of a decade, but it does not necessarily pinpoint recently metabolized substances, nor the frequency of usage in the near term.

In layman's terms: Hair follicle testing shows what has been in the system, not necessarily what IS in the system. IMO, hair follicle testing would be better applied to Major League Baseball than boxing.

& the only reason I'm commenting on this is that I used to work as a clinical laboratory analyst. I mainly handled narcotics testing, but the science is the same for steroids or any other substance.
