Didnt Roach change the rules of boxing by making Cotto come in at 145 for a welterweight fight?
They're all guilty of doing the same things. Its a power struggle, but I do agree blood the day after and before 30 days before the fight should be fine.

The same Roach who said they were all for any additional drug tests only to change his mind recently? Is Roach there at the negotiating table? Schaefer is.

No, that's been done numerous times before.

Catchweight fights, title or non-title, nothing new.

He will accept it if its demanded by the comission and not by a family of crackheads that are looking for a way out of the fight.

The whole point in random drugs testing is that it is RANDOM. What is the point in saying it will be 5 days before, or two weeks before.

They should guarantee that it won't be a day before but could be at anytime before that. Then Pacquaio can put away the tissues, let go of Roach's hand and stop crying about a damn blood test

    Bang on.

I've been saying this all along with a number of others.

Everything you see or hear regarding this fight is all hype and promotion.

From the Guardian.....I will not let my fighter take a blood test the day before a fight," Roach said. "If they give me a five-day window or something like that I have no problem with it....

That article was from 18 months ago, random knownot. If you wanna jump to ignorant conclusions, do so on your local highway, & not a boxing BBS. Wait, never mind. That's what boxing BBSs are for, right?

    P.T. Barnum was right.

Everytime there's some sort of disagreement in the negotiations, people cry that the fight is off and the fighter they don't like is scared.

I bet the fight is already signed. I bet terms have been agreed and everything is ready to go even at this stage. This is all hype, look how much discussion there is on here about it, look at all the articles and headlines. This is exactly what they want.

Pacquiao, does take the drug test. He has done after every fight.

Using your analogy - Manny takes his company (State athletic commission) drug test and passes everytime, if he didn't he would be 'fired.

If a colleague of yours came in to work and demanded, for no good reason, that you must also undergo HIS drug test because he wants you to - you would more than likely tell them to **** off.

Your logic is flawed. You are acting as if he is refusing to do a mandatory drug test for a governing body, which is not the case.
