Would Calzaghe still be "undefeated" at this point if he had taken a Hopkins rematch or a fight with Chad Dawson?

    No.

He might still be in the bottom half of the top ten somewhere though. Maybe. The top ten is weak as ****.

Chad Dawson who struggled with Glen Johsnson would beat Joe?

    I Don't think so.

And Hopkins who was allowed to do whatever he wanted by the ref against Joe and still could not win. He would win a rematch in which Joe's camp would call the shots and no doubt insist on a fair ref?

    No.

More probable is that Joe would be a heavyweight champ by now if he didn't retire.

Could not agree more. Haye's last ten fights stack up against almost anyone!

Easily at the #3 spot in front of Hopkins at #4, with his record standing as it is now. His real position would depend on his fights since, but I'd say there's nobody he can beat that would put him into the top 2. A fight with Dawson would only answer some questions, not help his status, and a Hopkins rematch would do the same. If he lost either of them, he'd drop down but still be in the top 10 easily.
