It was doing good without him. He was not much of a force at all since he was not fighting the best, only talking about it. I didn't feel anything was missing from boxing when Floyd was retired for that year or two.

The camps are just doing their gamesmanship thing. I still won't worry about it. I don't see money May honestly screwing up the biggest financial opportunity he's ever had over this.

I thought Mayweather wanted the Blood Test to be within 30 Days of the fight ? Pacquiao is only saying he does not want the test in the WEEK leading up to the fight ? So what is the problem do the test 29 Days before the fight !

TBH I am quite suprised Blood Tests are not the norm when it comes to Boxers

I think it is just a way to get the fight in the media for more promotion

Pac initially agreed to Olympic style drug testing which consist of random drug tests. I dont see the problem 1)if you've got nothing to hide and 2) Mayweather has to undergo the same tests.

I guess bernard hopkins was a ***** for having tito's gloves checked and refusing to fight unless the handwraps were done correctly.

I guess Mosley was wrong for having margarito's warps checked and finding out that that MOFO had loaded wraps.

For a fight of this magnitude i dont see why you woudn't want to dot ur eyes and cross ur t's.

He only wants Pac tested, because Pac is so good and destroying world class fighters.

That's an admittance of fear, he can't believe Pac is this good.

These would be professionals taking the samples and under the USADA commission performing the tests, right? Plus, wouldn't they get ample amount of sample just in case one vial maybe contaminated?

So, when in an 8 week period should these tests be done? Is there any harm to the test results if they are completed a week before as opposed to the day before the fight? It seems that is this the issue.

Meet in the middle of the road then, test each fighter 5 days out, then after the fight. Done.

Roach doesnt have a point, its childish & completely disrespectful to all us mugs (the fans of course) that have done nothing but talk about & look forward to the fight.

If Roach thinks Floyd has requested these tests to get out of the fight.... he has just made Floyd`s day.

If Roach thinks Floyd has requested this testing just to be an ass.... punish him in the ring were it will hurt him most, dont punish the fans.

Either way, its wrong to refuse the test if it jeopardizes the fight but Mayweather shouldnt even be threatening to pull out of this fight never mind actually doing it.

This will be fatal for boxing if this fight does not come off, believe me on that one.

Yo, I don't know why you brought up the usefulness of random testing because I'm not contesting that at all. If you read my posts, you'll see that, IMO, random testing is the best practical method of PED abuse. I only chimed in on this thread because a lot of seemingly random laymen are adamant about their conjectures that one body/fluid sample test is "superior" to another.
