Dirrell should be ashamed of himself:-(. It is SO obvious that Direll needs a NEW trainer. Because he obviously has been taught how to Box...Now he needs to learn HOW TO FIGHT!!!! And the sad part...He has REAL NATURAL ABILITIY. That was a VERY UN-IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE!!!!!
yeah, definitely afraid to bang in this fight. But the difference here and in the Froch fight is the fact that Dirrell both outlanded Froch and landed ALL the meaningful punches against Froch, here he just seemed too timid to throw anything. If you wanna see Dirrell at his best take a look at the work he did against Anthony Hanshaw
Yeah...but its Anthony Hanshaw. Its like a Running back only get 23 yards in a game...Then someone says..."Man, you shouldv'e seen him last week against that Division III team!!!"
Now here is Andre Dirrell putting on a SHOW against a guy who went tooth and nails with RJJ....allbeit a 37 YO post-Tarver RJJ....whatever here it is, the kid just dazzles, this maed me a fan: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1FM_UqYtLo[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8E3M4xCl1t0[/ame] Edit: my bad for posting the first 2 rounds atsch
Yeah...I saw this fight. But on another note...I honestly believe that Dirrell can box his way to an EASY decision over Abraham. I thnk he can tap him 4,5,6 times with combinations without getting touched. But the question remains...will he do it without RUNNING????
he can't...I mean thats just not his style and neither is it the style that would best suit fighting a guy like Arthur Abraham. Abraham feasts on the Edison Miranda's of the world. What i think Dirrell can do that JT couldn't is box on the outside while remaining on the bicycle for 12 rounds. Abraham is a counterpuncher by nature, he won't chase you, and I feel Dirrell has the stamina to circle him and unload those FAST 1-2's on the outside all night. My issue is the holding, he likes to hold in close quarters, and Abraham could be the guy to take advantage of that
I read his mailbag on ESB but haven't really read much outside of that, I posted the video he made about the Pac-Mayweather situation a little earlier today, he's got great insights
