I know he is involved with Ariza in conditioning Pac...I don't know about Khan, I sincerely hope not. I will try to dig out a source
This content is protected http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ot...am-accused-of-making-100-calls-to-dealer.html Can't find a direct source for him working with Pacquiao though...... the above article outlines his work and previous clientele.
I don't believe steroids help you with punching form, better defence. The reasons I believe Pac has looked so destructive at the higher weights.
How about football, rugby, cricket and various forms of athletics? Plenty of proven drugs cheats still operate in those sports and I will point out that Manny Pac still hasn't been found guilty of any wrong-doing. All this sort of baseless speculation is what is hurting boxing- 'only in boxing', eh?
But the difference in those sports is that all of those that are caught serve a punishment. In boxing, they seem to get a slap on the wrist, the fight in question is (generally) declared a no-contest and we all move on. There should be Olympic style drug testing for all contests - simple as that. As for Flea's point - whether or not they have any affect on defence and punching technique is irrelevant, they are still illegal. As for Pacquiao, he hasn't been found guilty of anything, therefore must be treated as innocent. It's hardly a big deal though to give a teaspoon full of blood for analysis, so long as the opponent does the same.
wHAT i MEANT WAS that IS WHY HE HAS LOOKED SO SPECTACULAR (oops, caps lock) and that comes through training.
This whole issue just really makes me sad. FMJ's people are doing an excellent job of discrediting boxing's biggest star with a malicious rumour. That's really....fantastic...for the sport as a whole
What hurts any sport is allowing proven cheats to still operate at the top level... cheats like Mosley being allowed to fight for titles damages the sport, not speculation. The sports that you highlight above all have much, much stricter drug enforcement regulations than boxing and players are thrown out of the sport on a regular basis. **"Manny Pac still hasn't been found guilty of any wrong-doing. "--Hence the word "suspected" that I used, he hasn't been proven guilty of anything, but as this thread demonstrates, plenty of people suspect him of wrongdoing.
Now Golden Boy are saying if Pac wants to fight any of their fighters (JMM/Mosely) they will request Olympic style testing. They're backing him into a corner here.
this is getting ridiculous now. To accuse pacquiao of being a drug abuser and start implementing this based on slanderous accusations from a crackhead....can't you see how bad that makes boxing look? and how its planting a seed in the minds of the general public that now think "oh all boxers must be on it"...when in fact boxing is the one sport where taking steroids gives the least advantage and by that i mean its not exactly gonna give one more courage, heart, skill or improve punch resistance (only tangible advantage i can think of is quicker recovery from injury and ability to train harder) I think proper blood testing should be done for every fight, but we overhaul the whole system now because people "have a feeeling"......no evidence, no proof....just rumour. Lets just make up any rumour and ask boxing to change the rules for it, shall we? No one is asking Mayweather for extra HIV testing. I think they should because I have a "suspicion" he may be having unprotected anal sex with Ellerbe. Since we are changing the rules of boxing and implementing "special" testing based on rumour, slander and innuendo.....why not?
I don't think Pacquiao is on roids. I believe Ariza when he claims Pac is on a 7000-8000 calorie a day diet. The recommended amount for the average man is 2500, a boxer boiling down to a weight obviously eats slightly less than this, but as pacquiao is going up in weight, and is training very intensely, it's only natural he would consume huge amounts of calories to help him get the gains. Look at Michael Phelps, i can't remember how many calories he eats a day but it's something ridiculous, and he isn't on any illegal substances bar the odd bong.
Yup! The Mayweathers (Jeff excepting) are real scumbags. Hopefully the huge amount of money involved will see the fight carrying on regardless. This is such a transparent effort to discredit Pac. Absolutely disgusting!:fire
