Roger vs. Royce, primes, stand-up dirty boxing match... ? edit: n/m just realized even though the weight's not far off, there's six inches between them. :yep On the other hand, Roger sure as **** hits harder than Matt Hughes, who's a good deal smaller himself (yes, I realize that was a 40 year old Royce but his punch resistance at 20 probably wasn't much different...with his grappling-centric style it's not like he took a lot of blunt force trauma to the head that would have denigrated it over time). :think
Roger weights about 220lbs from alll the sources I have seen. So he would have quite a bit o weight on Royce.
He boxed as a super featherweight/lightweight in his early career, light welter/welterweight in his prime, and junior middleweight toward the end. To make it easier we'll just say the 1993 versions of each (the welterweight version of Roger that beat up Livingstone Bramble and the 175lb Royce from UFC 1. Royce would have 30 pounds on him but in a stand-up striking match you'd still have to handicap it in favor of the heavier-handed Mayweather).
:rofl Sorry dude I though you ment Roger Gracie. Im a dumb ass. Mayweather would beat seven shades of **** out of Royce in a stand up fight. In a straight NHB affair Royce chokes him the **** out.
reminds me of my daughter at that age, hahaha. I just showed her the video and she laughed and said "he's small like I used to be, right daddy?!" My daughter is only 6 now and she has quite afew choke techniques down.
