Didn't Floyd Sr. admit to being a former crack head, and do time for selling it?

Now, I'm no lawyer, but I'm not sure how calling him a "crackhead" would amount to erm, "ironic slander".

does your limited intellect understand what the word FORMER means?:patsch

  5. What is? The fact Pac is refusing to be drug tested? I don't think they've made an unreasonable request bearing in mind PBF will undergo the same testing...

My limited intellect tells me not to try and use the word "former" as a verb.

Alcoholics who have stopped drinking still describe themselves as alcoholics.

Given the similarities between drug addiction and alcoholism, its hardly "slander" to call a former crackhead, a "crackhead"

Perhaps you should take your liberal sanctimony elsewhere. :thumbsup

Innocent until proven guilty. Some people are just unique athletes like that.

Your an idiot at times. Nobody gives a flying **** about those sports. Thos sports have stricter drugs testing and the players who fail normally get named and shamed and binned off by their club. And for your other ridiculous point, there needn't be any speculation. Pac refusing to do a simple test is whats causing the speculation. He has a simple opportunity to shut Mayweathers mouth and is refusing to do so. There would speculation in any form of life should somebody do the same. Rio Ferdinand 'missed' a drugs test and was banned for 8 months. If you get pulled over on Christmas Day by the police and asked to do a blood test and refused on the basis that you was going out drinking that night and didn't want to affect your drinking ability do you think there'd be people backing your corner. Pac has done tremendous things in different weights in such a short space of time. It was obvious that sooner or later this question was gonna rear its ugly head and Roach should have known so. They should do the blood test if thats what the opponent has asked for as long as Mayweather goes through the exact same testing on the exact same days

Take the test rule out the possibilty thus no speculation arises. Simple as really

Bit harsh. It should be down the the fighter if he wants Pac to take a test not the promoters, and if Mosley asks then its brilliant :-(

Fair enough but the question has been asked now so it should be answered. This debate will never die until the tests are done.

Shane Warne was banned for the use of a diuretic, used as a weight loss enhancer - it wouldn't enhance his cricketing performance in any way.

Bowling wouldn't change, when he batted he was a fours and sixes merchant anyway and fielded at first slip

I agree with you Dan, there's rules in other sports for a reason, why boxing can't adapt those rules is beyond me. All you hear are the usual excuses trotted out - the one thing I will say is that it shouldn't come in because Floyd says so.

    It should be in anyhow.

This is just part of an anti-Floyd agenda amongst many people..... I don't particularly like the guy by any means, but certain posters (mainly on the general) need to remove their personal feelings from their perspective.

A bit like me with Matthew Hatton, Audley Harrison, Eurobums, Adam Smith and Freddie Roach

No, I don't think he is and won't until he is proven to be taking something but it does raise the suspicion level with him refusing to take the test.

As much as I try, I can't get my head round that, it's syringe or two at most of blood .. take a sugar cube and you replace it. The superstition ting doesn't hold for me, sorry.

The onus is on Pac now to disprove the Mayweathers and shut them up, I wouldn't be surprised if anyone who was scheduled to face Pac next asked him to take the test.

Hold on, I've not read the other posts in this thread because this doesn't make sense, if Pacquiao was a drug cheat, then why would he offer to do the test 2 hours after the fight?? Surely the drugs would still be in blood till then? So no he is not a drug cheat!

Yeah, I kinda agree with that now. He might as well take a test otherwise this will never die down and his reputation will probably be tarnished. Then again, this should never have been forced upon him in the first place. Like someone already said (I think), shrewd move by Mayweather's camp.

Apparently the drugs in questin are for training not particularly the fight. they aren't performance enhancing as in they help him on the night I presume, just ones which help with the prep for a fight and the weight gain. I dont know really to be honest
