Do you believe Pacquiao is a drug cheat?

Yeah it was shrewd but in reality if he'd just agreed at the start (he's hardly a negotiating angel himself) there wouldn't be the fuss.

I'm no expert on steroids by any means - so if I am completely wrong....

Perhaps the reason for the request is because they are concerned about Pacquiao using them up until a certain point in his training camp, before coming off the juice.....

The steroids would allow him to train harder and recover faster - which would no doubt be valuable.

Oh right ok. So Pacquiao, unless he takes the test when said, is in a no win situation.

    Question is.......

    Would you do it?

Would you give in to a request from your opponent for a measly blood test - in order to secure a career high payday?

Or stick to your principles and refuse?

    :hey

Do it. If I hadn't been on the juice, believed I was gonna beat him and believed in my legacy then I'd do it. Pac's in a no win situation now. He doesn't do it and you can gaurantee people will start bringing up his previous wins a'la margs and the handwraps

    Classy:good.

As I said, this is nothing more than speculation and all of the controversy has been caused as a result of Camp Mayweather's baseless claims. Now all of a sudden Pacquiao has to abandon the same protocols that have been used to judge whether any fighter - including PBF in all of his tests to date, I'll add - is on any sort of performance enhancer(s).

Simply refusing to a blood test on PBF's terms isn't an admission of guilt anyway. Arum himself has said that Pacquiao has agreed to two blood tests prior to the fight and one afterwards as well as as many urine tests that need to be taken; to me, that isn't the stance of a man with anything to hide. 'Innocent until proven guilty' is the most pertinent point that can be made by anyone at the moment. Until I see proof that he's been cheating, I won't assume anything and neither should anyone else.

Oh come on! Why the sudden need for a change in the drug testing procedure? Whats wrong with urine analysis? They're trying to get under Pac's skin.

I'd do what Holyfield did and say that the results can be made public after the fight.

I guess the circumstances are different - in many people's eyes this fight is pretty much a 50-50 affair, whereas Holyfield vs Tyson 1 was supposed to be Mike's return to superstardom, everyone was calling for Holyfield to pack it in..... probably only turning up because they knew it would be great while it lasted.

Obviously Holyfield whupped Tyson...... I don't see Pacquiao whupping Mayweather.

i'm saying yes though i don't think he is.

why is he not taking any drug test presented to him? if it is simply a case of how he wants to be tested then why is that being made public, why is it not being negotiated behind closed doors.

he is scared of needles? bollocks. it didn't stop him from getting tattoos.

roach says he doesn't want him taking blood cos he knows how it will effect his mindset? bollocks. pac has one of the strongest mindsets in boxing. despite all the issues (cheating, divorce, gambling, politics etc) he is still smiling on his way to the ring!

you can cycle roids. numerous athletes get away with it all the time. there are loads of designers drugs coming on the market.

given the level they are fighting on EVERY measure must be taken and if he doesn't agree to them then he brings his reputation into question.
