Personally, I honestly believe Floyd will still fight Pacquiao. I honestly believe this is not about..."not wanting to fight a fighter who is "Juicing". THIS IS FLOYD (or the Mayweathers) SIMPLY SAYING: "I TOLD YOU".
Think of all the buzz and promotion that will ensue after all this smoke clears and we have a super hyped dramatic story line leading into a huge show down. Ali and Leonard knew the art of promotion. Mayweather knows how to sell a fight. This is the epitome of "will they/won't they" story line we see compel so many people to tune into television events. The media attention just went through the roof and the fans all blew their tops at the prospect of this fight not happening. Floyd wouldn't dream of turning down earnings of this level, Pacquiao wouldn't dream of it either. Arum is a promoter and a businessman. He loves money as much as Floyd does. The wheels are in motion, the story line is being created, the fans are hooked and getting drawn in. Perfect Mega fight mechanics at work.
They'll use the buzz to hype the fight, but this stuff isn't fabricated. They wouldn't go to these extremes to hype the fight.
For sure, I think they may be taking it a bit too far though. There's a thin line between promoting this fight and just making people frustrated to the point that they don't care anymore. What's odd about all of this is that it's completely baseless, people are just accusing Pac and believeing that its true based on nothing.
I remember hearing a story where Ali wanted to make it look like he was kidnapped to sell a fight once. I do think there is some sincerity in PBF's claim, but I also think at the end of the day, he loves playing the villain and getting the attention.
Well if it is a Promotion Strategy, then are making it way too far. They are damaging the reputation of Pac here. I hope in the end of the day. They still respect PAC as a fair fighter.
You know, I actually think now that this was only Arum's way of insulting Mayweather. Like ''Okay, Malignaggi is a second choice to you, Floyd. Six of one, half a dozen of another. Same difference to us." I bet Floyd's ass clenched tightly enough to make diamonds when he heard that.
Void has chicken blood, but can they test it? Void refused to fight Pac after Pac stopped Hatton in the second round, so Pac fought Cotto, a fighter Void refused to fight. Void refused to fight Pac, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley and Williams. Void is void. I don't care about Void and his chicken blood!
