Manny already agreed to take the blood test days before the fight and another one after the fight.

It's just that Floyd wants the test to be done randomly.

Pacquiao will take the test. Just not as close as a handful of days before the fight, a concept which is alien to Mayweather followers. It's the way in which the Mayweather camp are pushing for it to be very specific - and the way in which they are insisting on a test unprecedented in pro-boxing - which combined with prior comments are tantament to an overt suggestion that Pacquiao is cheating, which is perfectly justifiable reason for an internationally famed star like Pacquiao (with a lofty reputation at stake) to launch legal action.

Now, unless it's an elaborate act for the cameras, none of the Mayweather team appear to be what could be described as intelligent - you only have to hear Floyd or any of the senior members speak in their very unique approximation of the English language to know that - and they've really telegraphed their punch here, so much so that the only reasonable conclusion one can reach is that Mayweather is scared to fight Pacquiao. You don't suggest outright that your opponent is a drug cheat by having your Dad start rumours with no factual grounding before using said rumours as a basis to ask for an unprecedented drugs test unless you have an ulterior motive. To me, it seems simple: I suspect that at best Mayweather is extremely fearful of a 100% Pacquiao and was hoping to throw him off his game come fightnight, and at worst he knew that forcing this issue would jettison the bout entirely.

It has changed my opinion of the fight should it still happen though. It's gone from a genuine, 50-50 match-up which could be won by either fighter to an almost definite Pacquiao KO within a round, two at the most. Mayweather is a slow starter and given his apparent fear combined with a Pacquiao sporting far meaner intentions than usual I have to suspect that when Mayweather's highly questionable jaw is thrown into the mix glass will be-a-shattering early on.

I know it sound silly but does anyone know if mayweather are going through the same test as what they asked pac to go through? It seems that they only want pac to take this random test and not them.

    Can someone confirm this?

    ***************************

A very humorous post clearly posted by someone who has nothing more than a passing knowledge of the sport. The give away and possibly the comic momemt of the year is at the end when you speak of 'Mayweather's highly questionable jaw'. Now tell me have you been on the egg nog a bit too early in the day or are you just a fantasist. If not please bring forth the evidence of the questionable jaw in his 40 odd fight career.... i supposed this is in comparison to your Man Pac who we know has been stopped twice!!!
Second point the real substance of this type of testing being unheard of in pro boxing is that it has completely shown up how inadequate and behind the times boxing drugs testing is. No wonder Moseley got away with it for years... i wonder how many more have slipped through the net! In a time of sophisticated designer steroids and human growth hormones, the Nevada commision thinks a rigorous drug testing regime is to get the boxer to pee in a pot after the fight and perhaps in some cases once pre fight, what a joke!

As for the psycholoogical elememt to this, you obviously are not a studier of the sport. This game instigated by the brilliant Elllerbee is as old as boxing is itself. One only has to llok at the Ali text book and book mark the likes of the Liston fights to see the rationale here. It is clear looking at the strangely irrate Pac camp; Roach losing it and Arum talking rubbish, and now Pac threatening to sue, that the Pac camp is clearly rattled and disturbed! What happens now every time pac fights and wins, i tell you what, a big question mark will come down from the skies and everyone will ask the same question, how clean is he?

You question the Mayweather's intelligence because of their abuse of the Queen's English. Once you've gotten your head out of your glubious maximus you might realise what many do; That as uncouth as they are, this is boxing ans what they possess is great intelligence about the sport, technically, tactically and historically.

As for your predcition.... well each to their own! The fight will happen, of this i have no doubt, i hope though that your prediction is built on something more solid than the tripe you have served up here!

Fact is that team M. insists on random testing done by the USADA, even though Pac's team agreed to random blood and urine testing done by another organsation and not too close to the fight.
I'm asking myself why, when Pac agrees their asking, they can't agree with another org. than the one chosen by themselves...

Oh, sry: M. would've to have to take the same tests...
