They did not claim he has a needle phobia. They claimed he has a phobia of getting his blood drawn. The phobia is that Manny feels that it weakens him, and he doesn't want it happening to close to a fight.

Their original offer was to have Manny have 3 blood tests, one before the weigh-in, one 30 days prior and one after the fight, but Mayweather rejected that.

Now the Nevada Commision has stepped in and their offering to do all of the random testing, within 30 days of the fight. The difference is that they'll offer more flexibility and give Manny a cutoff date before the fight. That's Bob Arum's proposal to Mayweather as of now.

That is why I'm one of the Pac fans who wishes Pac to just take the test already. If he tests negative, are you still on crackhead's side?

There is internet reports that Manny has a needle phobia, either way, both blood / needle phobia have been proven wrong.

Mayweather wanted random testing from day one, this Manny objected to, after being fine with it for a few weeks.

Yes but that's only for the pee test right?

    mayweather is a fool.

he thinks the world revolves around him and that the rules should change just for him. what a joke.

LoL there is no needle phobia eze, I've read all of the reports. Manny has a phobia of getting his blood taken close to a fight. That hasn't been proven wrong.

We don't know if Manny knew of the random testing from day one and if he did he probably didn't realize to what extent it was at the time.

No it's for random blood tests and urine tests.

    exactly.
he thinks he is running boxing now, and should decide how to administer drug tests... but only against pacquiao and only for this fight.

    He is clearly worried.

    not really....

that means floyd could sue half of america for claiming he is scared to fight miguel cotto, antonio margarito, & shane mosley.... claiming for emotional stress...

cmon now... you can't sue for an opinion

yes because floyd has shown a blatant disregard for the rules before by not being able to make weight and gaining a signficant advantage over marquez. but floyd thinks he runs boxing so he managed to change the contract.

pac doesn't want that to happen to him.

Wrong. Pac said they can test any whenever they want just not the day of the fight.

    http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/12...xcuses-excuses

Pacquiao made it clear he has no qualm in undergoing tests. What he’s opposed against is having him to give blood so near the March 13 fight date.
“Require natin lahat pati blood test... pero ‘wag naman doon sa day of the fight, manghihina ka naman noon,” he said.

trans: let us require all even blood test... but not on the day of the fight, it will make you weak."

Yes, I am going to eat soon but I'll find you the article that states he has a phobia of needles.

It's been reported that it was in the contract the whole time.
    That's good and bad.

I would prefer the olympic team to do it for this fight at/up to an agreed upon date.

Then Pac should of never agreed to the testing 4 weeks ago.

BTW Marquez-Mayweather signed a NEW contract to make the fight at 147, so no rules were broken.
