The USADA has taken blood from other high performance aerobic athletes with no ill effects. So what make pac or any other boxer different?

If this is true, then Arum has known from the beginning.. I don't get it.

 

- random blood and urine tests should be mandatory from January 1, 2010. Organizations and commissions should use Olympic style drug testing so fighters could be checked regularly, as DOPING IS AN ISSUE IN BOXING whether you like it or not. Boxers using illegal substances should get caught and others should FEAR of getting caught. Current tests are weak for a huge amount of substances
- Kobe Bryant, Wild Card fighter Amir Khan, also Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and tens of thousands of Olympians and other athletes did random blood/urine tests in the past and not one lost due to it, there's absolutely no excuse to turn mandatory random blood/urine tests down or make demands when or how to do it
- HOWEVER, mandatory random blood/urine tests are NOT part of current professional boxing rules (not in Nevada at least), and the subject should NOT be part of business negotiations
- Pacquiao has never failed a drug test, you have to be proven guilty not innocent, and PAC WAS CLEARED IN EVER DRUG TEST HE EVER DID, stop being suspicious without evidence (that goes for Margarito's past fights too). See you in court for false accusations
- Floyd still can accuse anyone if he wants a court case, but he's NOT BIGGER THAN THE SPORT AND IT'S RULES TO DEMAND EXCEPTIONAL RULES BASED ON PERSONAL OPINION. Sorry Floyd, boxing has it's own current rules (Nevada uses re & post-fight urine tests for example), no athlete should ignore them and come up with his own. Imagine everybody doing it! It'd be chaos!
- this whole mess brought TERRIBLE SHADOW OVER BOXING, we don't need geneal discussions whether Pac uses or not since he never failed a drug test, and the latest media war only brought a negative image on him and on the already weakened sport.

IMO:

- Floyd should've never demanded something completely out of an athlete's hand (every sport has it's own rules, Floyd can accept it or not fight), and boxing uses organizaton/local commission rules on drug testing. I'd love to see mandatory Olympic style tests, we might get it one day, but Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not bigger than the sport to change for his own taste
- When it was demanded, Pac should've refused talking on the subject entirely or should've only said "let promoters sort it out" and "drug tests aren't and shouldn't be in fighters/promoters control, ask Nevada to change, not me", instead he came up with unfortunaly not the smartest excuses such as he afraids of the needle, it weakens him etc. Not smart, think about it: now many think something's fishy, because Floyd dragged dirty tactics into negotiations and Pac didn't comment very smart. So now his reputation wrongfully suffers, and with his, professional boxing's reputation suffers too
- false accusations (as of my knowledge so far only Sr. accused Pac openly of Floyd's team) should be brought to court, same goes for accusing any other athlete like Margarito, there would be absolute chaos if you could accuse anyone for anything at any time
- probably the smartest thing Pac should've done after his comments was accepting Olympic style random blood/urine tests and shut team Mayweather's mouth, stopping the madness. It just didn't play out too well for him unfortunately

Both can fight at 144, Pacquiao will be all for that, but I doubt Floyd would go for it. SO FAIL try again.

 

Pacquiao's camp has agreed to whatever urinalysis they want and 3 blood tests. Schaefer also believes that Pacquiao is wrongly advised and wants to deal with Roach and Pacquiao, not Arum.

Plus, NSAC was good enough according to Schaefer for Mosley-Judah.

"Whatever tests they want them to take, Shane will submit to that. We are not going to do other tests than the Nevada commission requires," Schaefer said. "The fact is Shane is not a cheater and he does not need to be treated like one."

Its more to do with the timing of the tests and it disrupting Pacquiao in the final few days of preparation.

 

Floyd got offered $10 million dollars for a monetary reward if Pacquiao came in dirty, with these tests being offered to him. He says NO.

 

Their fighting at welter which is 141- to 147, there should be no contract to for a fighter to weigh in at a special weight to accommodate another fighter fighting at the same weight. This is called a handicap match.

 

So far most athletes complaining about drug testing have tested positive later on. Some manage to get away with it somehow but the: "I'm not using PED's - Complaining about drug testing - Getting caught or admitting using them" sequence has been seen a million times before.
