First of all I think Berto will be extremelly lucky is he hears the final bell. I'm expecting Shane to take his year's worth of frustration out on Berto. and he will be wanting to make another statement to the boxing world. Theres a lot of talk about Berto being hungrier than Shane, but Shane is a real fighter, once he's hit with a good shot he's hungrier than anyone, So I'm predicting Shane by late stoppage. He will be sending a message to both Pac, and Mayweather. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO whats the blueprint???? 1. Mosley is going to use a good jab, much like we saw him use to dismantle maragito. 2. Counterpuching, Berto loves the right uppercut, but he throws it with so much abandon that he's wide open for a left hook, and Mosley knows this and will murder him with it. 3. combinations of 4, 5 , and 6 , he will have to be very active to destroy Berto, and he will! 4. The secret weapon, THE BUGGY WHIP!!!!!, yes the infamous right hand that is thrown at such an angle it scraps the arenas ceiling before landing on his opponents face! SSM............this ones over baby!!!!!!!!!!!:hat
This will be a battle of will. They both are not really awesome boxers neither are tacticians. It is about who wants it more and will not leave the ring without a W.
What are you talking about ?????????both of these fighters are as skilled as you can get especially Mosley. He's not a tactician?????:think
Berto needa use his hand speed and his footwork to stay away from Mosley....If he can land 2 punch combinations and move out he gotta chance not to get that suspect chin checked by Shane...Berto UD 114-113...
I think Moseley can lose. Berto has won tough fights before and is very hard to hit has very fast hands and can punch. He also is very strong and can ,muscle moseley around the ring. He has great conditioning and can take it to Shane for 12. Shane may be more shot than we think. Mayorga was making him look terrible awkward and off his game until Shane KO'd him. He lost to Cotto over 12 rounds. I dont think the Margo loss changes my mind much. Margo wrapped his hands meaning he was not ready to fight or planned on winning fair and square. Once he had to fight within the rules it wa sover. He never tried to win the fight. As impresive as Shane was it does not mean much for this one. Berto will be in tip top form and ready to go where as Margo was relying on cheating. Not to mention Moseley's inactivity. I think Berto wins if it goes to points but Shane has the power to stop him but it takes more than raw power to stop Berto.
In order for Berto win he'll have to avoid the exchanges where Mosley will have the advantage. Berto instead will have to rely more on a 'punch and get out' strategy. He needs to throw fast combinations whilst mixing up his punches and then get out of harms way. He showed that he is capable of this type of execution at times in his fight against Urango. Urango however is obviously much slower and less skilled than Mosley so it remains to be seen if Berto can implore these tactics against a class fighter like Shane. Most of all Berto needs to hope that Mosley shows his age in this fight along with any ring rust. Shane pretty much just needs to fight his fight and bait Berto into the exchanges. Mosley is a dynamic puncher with power in both hands and a granite chin. After a one year hiatus I'm thinking that he'll be eager to prove that he isn't effected by the layoff and will try to make a statement.
