Now with Pacq threatening lawsuit- you cant seriously still like Pacq..right? I mean- this is America and you can sue anybody for anything...but winning that type of court case will never happen.

I like Pacq alot- before he started fighting the "name" fighters. Pacq was good, respectful, and had improving skills. Then he started with fighters who have names but aren't very good such as Hatton and broken DLH, Cotto. These wins are not accomplishments.

Many people are saying that Floyd is "ducking". Really? I'm a Pacq fan, I'm a Floyd fan, I'm a boxing fan. If Floyd wanted out- he could have said no to the fight- he could have said no at the $10Mil weight clause, he could have said no at 50/50, date, location, etc.

No fanboys here- just reality. Pacq really needs some help here.

:-( the reality is that you have no idea what you are talking about noob. to manny's credit, a damaged cotto was still good enough to beat a top welter like joshua clottey. whoever u gave in your opinion that fight to, it could of gone either way. hell, floyd never wanted cotto back then, he doesn't want him now. pre margo i'd pick cotto to beat floyd he has the jab to do it. no matter how u look at it at this point manny is one up on floyd for beating cotto. not to hard to comprehend. to this day floyd has not beaten a top welter besides the great baldomir:lol:

I appreciate your input and thank you. Yes, I am new here- thank you for pointing that out. The problem here is that people are not separating fact from speculation. Yes, Cotto defeated Clottey- but is Clottey anything special? A decision nonetheless.

The fact is that Pacq is a great fighter who has beaten some less than steller competiton, he has lost a few times, and struggled many times. The fact is that Floyd has not competed much in the welter divion, he has been inactive recently, he has never lost.

Pacq is not a skilled fighter- check the alternate threads if you have difficulty believing this "noob". His lack of head movement, balance issues, never sitting on his punches, and straight back style are horrendous. Pacq has been able to hide these things more so because of his lack of skilled competiton. Has he ever fought anyone with any speed? Check his resume.

Floyd is a skilled fighter. No one will ever argue this. As a fighter he is on point. As a man- many people cannot stand him and his brash ways. Floyd has also not fought great competiton lately- but he has a resume of coming up in weight and fighting the greats- unlike Pacq.

As I mentioned earlier- I am a huge Pacq fan. I am a huge Floyd fan. Roach was good before his his numerous fighters have been linked to designer roids. I am a boxing fan. This thread is NOT about me. Please direct any responses about boxing to this thread- and respones about me to your local trash receptacle. :good

    Must be a Mayweather Fan.

    Fail.

You have it wrong the Mayweathers are the worst thing to happen to boxing.

"In 1993, Floyd Sr. was convicted for drug trafficking and jailed for five years. He was also guilty of smuggling cocaine in boxes of laundry detergent. In 2006, [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Mayweather"]Roger Mayweather[/ame] also started a riot when he attacked Zab Judah during a bout with Floyd Jr. He was fined $200,000 and suspended for year. He was also jailed for six months In 2007, Floyd Mayweather Sr. also found out in that he fathered a 19-year-old light middleweight by name of Jones. The teenager contacted Floyd Sr. because of comments from his friends and relatives that he has resemblance to the Mayweather family. He then requested Mayweather if he would take a DNA test. The DNA test proved positive. In August 2009, Roger Mayweather was arrested in Las Vegas for attacking one of his former female boxers. Mayweather allegedly hit her several times in the ribs, then tried to choke her, causing her to spit up blood when police arrived. In a interview with HBO, Roger later admitted to choking St. Vil in an effort to restrain her, but denied that he physically struck her. Police has also search the Rolls Royce car of Floyd Mayweather Jr., who was speculated to be involved in a shooting incident outside the Crystal Palace Skating Center in Las Vegas in August 2009."

Those are the facts: this family is jacked and classless they are not ambassadors of the sport.

Yes Floyd Sr and Roger get into trouble- but that ruins their personal life- not boxing. They have added some decent things to the sport. But now if Pacq were to test postitive- so many people would be crushed and hate boxing as a sport. Roger and Floyd sr are no saints- but at least they did not cheat a sport.

So what you're saying is ENTIRELY based on judgement rendered by positive drug test results that DON'T EVEN EXIST YET!? What the hell is wrong with you man? It's innocent until proven guilty not the other way around. I wonder how much of a huge Pac fan you really are(I'll admit I am)to not even give him the benefit of doubt until conclusive evidence proves otherwise. If you're also a huge Mayweather fan you'd want this fight for his legacy....and certainly a big boxing fan wants this fight.

Pac with Roach's guidance has molded a great, dynamic, and exciting fighter who fights anyone and attracts lots of fans. He puts on exciting, breathtaking performances even in defeat. Please allow the truth to make or break all he has achieved instead of tearing down his legacy on your own whim.
