Speed, movement and defense. Galivan was the fastest and best mover Robinson faced and gave a prime Robinson his closest fight at his prime weight and possibly won the first fight. Robinson usually had a speed advantage, when thats taken away its allot tougher. What if Robinson faces faster men like Jones Jr at 160 or Leonard at 147? He would be the slower man. Hearns is just as fast as Robinson with a better jab, could the jab neutralise Robinson? How does he do against a defensive genius like Whitaker/Mayweather at 147? His speed probably dominates both in fairness What about an all round great like Duran at 147, who could slip his shots, throw great fast counters, pressure, hurt him, how does he do? Another good way to beat him is put him in with a massive, very big MW or make him move upto 168-175. At MW Nunns speed, height and rangyness causes him loads of problems. Benn/Haglers strength and pressure are difficult too
I think at his best he'd beat them all but Leonard or Hearns to win a UD if hes not quite 100%, if he has a bad night a more experienced Galivan, Duran certainly could edge a UD. In the real world taking on all 5 of those it'd be very hard to win all 5 but this is prime for prime I'm sure Curry and even Judah could cause problems early before getting stopped I dont really give Napoles, Whitaker, Mayweather, Benitez, Walker, Rodriguez, Ross too much chance as I dont see them presenting anything that would trouble Ray stylistically. No one else is worth mentioning off the top of my head. DLH/Tito/Quartey are all far too predictable
Leonard or Hearns, cant make my mind up which. I forgot Burley but i dont think his slower hands and counter punching style match up well against Robinson, sure it would be a c-racker though
Leonard still in the lead with 3 votes. Burley on 2. Hearns, Duran, Napoles all on one vote. Along with Rodriguez, that is if you're picking him Minotauro?
