Scurla, you only just found out about this now? Been posting updates about this card on here for sometime. Mousasi vs Goodridge (Crappy fight, I'm sure they could have easily found someone better. When was the last time this guy won a fight?) in a k-1 rules match will be a late addition to the card. It's a quality card, Aoki vs Kawajiri would have been nice though.
The card is far from awful. I totally agree with on Aoki-Kawaijri and Overeem. Arlovski vs Overeem was talked about, but fell through for whatever reason. A few adjustments could have made this card better, its still a good card though.
I'm really looking forward to it, can't wait, I love these cards. Mousasi - Goodridge, obviously not the perfect fight, but, we do get to see Gegard back in action and that's always a good thing from a fans point of view. Like I said before, Mousasi - Goodridge or Mousasi - Scurla, i'll be watching. :smoke

The Card is ok not great. Compared to the NYE cards of the past its really not that good. The TV rating will be very interesting for this one.
Apparently K1 Koshien is a high school tournament, that is pretty cool. How great would it be to be on a national event with the chance to be the best high school age kickboxer in the country? Souwer vs Masato will be great, Manhoef will have to fight a very seasoned veteran counter striker with a well rounded skillset, Gono vs Mach is sort of interesting. The rest of the card looks pretty mix and match, there are tons of great fighters, but most of them are in mismatches, mismatches with no real compelling reason like a grudge or style matchup or something along those lines.
New Year's Eve off means this might be my first live DREAM viewing experience! Presumably the events are usually at about 10PM local time, or 8AM EST (-14:00)? Alarm set. :good By the by, does HDNet even exist on Comcast or do we in the cable monopoly zones need to get "creative"?
