    Morales does a little better vs common opponents :D, I said A LITTLE mind so dont get on my ass & to be fair, I never ruled out Chacon over Morales or Batrrera over Chacon, they are just about even fights.... but you know me Addie, always sway one way or another :good

    Yes, I think it was thee fight were he looked at his absolute best, I watch that fight every now & then just for the artistry (seriously)
    I wanted to mention that one but it happened at 122 lbs, it was - as you no doubt already know - his warm up fight before the Naz fight at 126.

    :good And the reason I say weight never played as a factor into Barrera's prime, it was simply the time frame. Two of Marco's greatest ever showings happened at 122lbs, but they were all around the same time frame. 1998-2002. That was peak Marco. This was when pundits were wondering whether he had past his best days or not, him having turned pro in 1989.

    I don't blame you for watching Barrera vs Salud a lot. It was awesome. If that Marco turns up against Chacon, I only see one winner.

    The hate has died a good bit over the yrs but its safe to say I`ll never `like` him.

    By the way nice Avi Addie:good Like alot better than the Little Asian guy you had before:lol:

    As a kid i probably saw more Chacon fights than anyone else,liked him the you do Barrera. Unfortunatley I was too young to catch him at Featherweight. My Dad saw him live many times at that weight and said he was more of a boxer/puncher than the rock em sock um Bobby at JL. Sounds like both were better at 126 although Bobby won alot of big fights at JL.

    If THAT Marco turns up against Chacon... then yes, I think he tears Bobby up, decision tho, Chacon was tough as hard ****.

    I liken the performance too Morales vs Ayala. Everything was "on". Morales was on the verge of stopping Paulie because he was landing at such a high percentage rate. It wasn't his offense that was suprising, it was his defence. Ayala came to fight and was throwing a lot of punches, but Morales was still making him miss an awful lot.

    Marco doesn't have the firepower to stop Chacon. We agree on that.
