Keep in mind that normally the human body achieves max. natural muscle mass at around 25-27 years of age. It's very rare for someone who has been training all their life to be able to build so much muscle mass past their prime. Pacquiao is now 31. Can somebody add 20 pounds of pure muscle in their 30s? This content is protected
PAC is prime right now. for him to move up like he has NOW...would be very hard. He could but at some point no matter how good you are you hit a wall and you loose the natrual attributes of speed, power and reflexes as you move up. I think 147 is PAC's wall.
So you think somebody can add 30% of their body weight in pure muscle in their 30s just be eating right?
i don't think that's really true about 25-27 years of age. where did you hear that? a man's metabolism drops a lot after 30, and a lot of guys are able to gain muscle easier at that point.
What a '****. Does this idiot think Pac weighed in at 126 for featherweight fights and stayed at 126 by fight night?
Many athletes peak (weigth wise) around 29-31. This is especially true for basketball, baseball, football - even boxing. This is why some sports, the athletes become less competitive at around this age because the added weight and decreased mobility become a hindrance. Tennis athletes for example tend to peak around the mid 20s (Agassi, Sampras, Federer, etc). Look at PBF, even him is willing to do 154. that is 24 pounds from the 130 class he started from.
Well Pacquiao judging by the pics has about 3-4% body fat and his body fat percentage has stayed the same over the years. Unless you think all his body weight came from water, I don't see where else the weight could be coming from. The pictures speak for themselves. Look at Pac-Cotto where he weighed 144 pounds and compare him vs Solis in 2007 where he was 128. It seems like his body fat percentage actually decreased doesn't it?
Actually, Pac's body fat has certainly increased since his days @ 126. It's easy to see in weigh-in pics.
I'd say the opposite is true. The pictures speak for themselves. He was ripped against Cotto, and he looked soft against Solis, just two years difference.
Can someone put up a pic of Oscar during the Mayweather weigh in ..Roach and company had Oscar ripped similar to Manny ..
Huh? Naw......PAC never added 30% of muscels in his 30's....Progressively he's moved up in weight and added the necessary elements to his body in order to be effective. Alot of that sucess we see in PAC is b/c of how natually talented he is. But most of it comes from being a professional! They take a very scientific stance on building the body through proper strnght, conditional, nutrition and supplemntal intake. All natrual of course. For you or I do do this would be nearly impossible if we could not devote 100% of our working day to meet these goals of coniditioning the body, mind and spirit towards the goal of maximizing ones natural attributes in a higher weight class.
