So he most likely weighed 150 against Cotto adding 6.5 pounds of water weight. His body fat percentage seems not to have changed over the years.
That's your uneducated guess. Seeing how the guy has never weighed over 149 for a fight, I would guess he was around 149 for Cotto.
Because it's common sense. He weighs in at 144 or so, so why is he going to go that low if he's going to go back up to 152-154? He'd just cut to 147.
What makes your uneducated guess better than mine? Until somebody finds the "tale of the tape" from HBO we won't know.
Uh, because I'm using his past weigh-in history? His fight night weight in his only other Welter fight was 148.5. Why would he weigh any more for this ww fight? And nobody's gonna 'find' the tale of the tape for the Cotto fight because neither Cotto, nor Pac got on HBO's scale for a fight night weigh-in.
Well the upper body is not the only place to add weight to, even a boxer needs strong legs. In Manny's last bout I bet that some of the weight was put on the legs as well.
Well that is just stupid, because he's fighting a man much bigger than him, if the fight was at 147, you can bet Cotto would come in fight night weighing in 10 pounds more than that. Therefore it is in Pacquiao's best interest to keep the fight closer to HIS OWN natural body weight. So that means we must take your uneducated guess over my uneducated guess, why?
Then your whole, "Pacquaio hasn't changed much in weight from Barrera to now is based on speculation" isn't it?
