Considering the caliber of the opponents that Jones would do that clowning to, it's crazy to think that some fight fans were upset that Calzaghe was doing that back to Jones.

Bum? Depends on your personal definition, I guess.

I'd call him a good regional-level clubfighter. So maybe a "bum" compared to the mega-elite, but the term's unnecessarily harsh and extreme in a broader context.

It was hilarious reading the Glass Jawed joke Jones fanboys on here crying because Calzaghe schooled, taunted, and embarrassed that ass.

Jones clowned the bus drivers and police officers he was fighting for christ sakes!

    Talk about irony.

One thing about RJJ is he clowned pretty much every fight he ever faced including X, Toney and Ruiz.

Joe Calzaghe was embarrasing doing that, Im a fan of his but his show boating was embarrasing to watch, just like his appearance on striclty come dancing.

At points in his career, yes absolutely. Obviously he had moments that transcended what most clubfighters achieve - a good many, wins and losses - but they are bookended by some substantial club-and-casino campaigns against tomato cans (before the 1st Haugen win, and after Jones). Probably one of the better middle-third resumes of the last 20 years, but sandwiched by a good deal of crap.
