Munroe is, and I will be diplomatic here, very limited. So I don't see the value in fighting Booth when he's on the verge of being offered a big fight. Its a pointless stumbling block. I thought it was a funny looking matchup when I saw it. I wonder do the EBU make this stuff up for the craic or is there any basis for any of it.

did anyone watch steve bunce on setanta...it had a real irish theme...the stuff he said about the irish middleweight quartet of duddy, macklin, lee and sinclair was food for thought....there was 18 boxing promotions here this year...6 in the north and 12 in the south, not bad eh:yep

Thats really good actually. To be able to sustain 18 shows or varying sizes is an achievement. Its easy to get a bit downbeat sometimes, and sure the quality of cards and bang for your buck can vary, but 18 shows to choose from dotted around various parts of the country is something we could only have dreamed of just a few short years ago.

I have the Bunce show recorded. I'm saving it because there will be a night soon enough when I'm about to stick my foot through the tv and having that to watch might just change my mind!

"Sinky" should stay at light-middle, there's plenty of opportunities out
there for him at that weight, and a convincing win over Moore in April[if this fight actually happens] will open even more doors.I enjoyed this programme immensely and hope Setanta Ireland invest in more Irish boxing next year.If they pushed a little money in the direction of Egan, Hyland and Dolphin or some other minor Irish promoter, it can only benefit the sport here.

I watched the Bunce show and I'm deighted Setanta Ireland have him back on. I don't know whether to take the rhumours about a tournament between the boys at 160 with a pinch of salt or not. Is Buncey usually correct when he hears rhumors like that? I mean Lee Duddy and Mackin would sell no doubt but is it fair to move Sinclair up? Jamie Moore or James Moore would be better IMO. They both want to move up anyway. I would never underestimate Brian Peters or Henessy but I can't see this happening anytime soon. Besides, Macklin has his mandatory to look after. Hope I'm proved wrong though.
