Who thinks this is mostly just fight Build up?

Is it so hard to imagine that the promotional companies, HBO , Vegas executives and everyone else who'll make tons of $$$$ from Pac vs Mayweather are thrilled about all of the attention being given to the fight build up...

I know that Manny wouldn't be onboard for this type of promotion, considering it has unfairly been defaming his name... but,


the more people think that the fight won't happen, the more pumped they will be when the fight DOES happen..

It is safe to say that even before all of this Steroid BS that the fight was already going to be one of, if the not the largest, PPVs in History...

And after all of this, it will only boost the magnitude and value of the fight by a lot more...


The one truth that sticks out amongst this cloud of bull**** - (from both sides) ... is that MONEY makes the world go around ... and there is simply WAY TOO much money to be made for this fight NOT to happen.

 

at first i thought it was...but i don't really feel that way anymore...pac doesn't need mayweather and mayweather doesn't need pac...

 

Its build up. Heard from an insider this is just a Ploy. They are trying to make it seem like the fight is not going to happen. Both Promoters are asking for more purse money and some cash from HBO and Etc. HBO needs this fight and the Promoters knows this so their making this **** up so HBO can cough up more cash.

 

It's just all hype but the haters, even though they know it's hype, just love any excuse to hate and the promoters know it. :yep

I'm not remotely worried about this fight not happening.

No way 10 milliliters of blood would stop this fight from happening.

 

Of course they don't need eachtother ... they are the 2 best fighters of this generation, but in order to really prove who is the BEST of the generation, they need eachother....

why would we be dumb to believe this steroid testing...are steroids not common now-a-days??

and the last time pacquiao was blood tested was in 2005 against morales and he lost!!!!!!

The fight will happen. The drug testing ended up being a bigger issue than was anticipated, but there is no way in hell either man is walking away from this fight.

Each of them will make 20 million+ easily, and the bout will be the biggest boxing match to happen since Tyson-Holyfield, Leonard-Hearns, Ali-Frazier III.


For the sake of the sport, the fight has to happen. And it will.

After all the drama that's going back and forth. Dead, on, dead on... I'm thinking that's very possible. Before, I was thinking it was negotiations. But this much over blood testing and such. The fight should happen. Floyd looked so calm in that Brian Kenny punch out video.

 

I think whenever Arum and Schafer first met to talk about this fight, they came up with this all this drama as a way to spur more interest in the fight.

Like I said. This is all about the Promoter's. They wanted more leverage so their pretending the fight wont go through so HBO and others could cough up more cash for this fight.
