This is from a article done about Tiger by ESB. But do you belive Tiger was actaully that old when he first ever laced on a pair of gloves? If so very shocking, especailly how great he went on to become.
This makes absolute sense to me, as a late start often translates into a late peak and prime when considering ATGs. Conversely, earlier starts = earlier burn outs. Can kids be too young to rationally consent to biologically natural behaviors like sexual activity? If so, then they can absolutely be too young to rationally consent to being punched in the head even under sanctioned supervision. This sort of thing should be a mature decision. Tiger did it the right way, as an adult choice, and his career validates it.
Yep. It also could explain why he struggled so much early in his pro career, and why it took him over a decade to reach the height of his form.
I would think so based on so many early career losses, when he was still learning his craft. His early pro days, were probably like most polished pros amatuer days.
Most people that take up boxing, are not really that talented..... You only have to take a trip down to your local gym....? how many kids can't even throw punches properly..? how many kids, stand around like they have bricks for feet..? Thats why it takes years for them to even learn how to punch correct.... If you are naturally talented with great co-ordination, you can turn your hands to anything..........
