I love watching Pac but this fight? This fight, if ever it happens, would shame even Mayweather's fight against Ricky's brother. What did Paulie do to deserve such fight at this point? Ran his motormouth against Pac?

I really hope this is only a gimmick from Arum, and they would fight Bradley or Foreman instead.

But if this fight happens, suck it!

    Who is with me?

I want to see it:D....but if you listen to paulie's latest couple of interviews....he doesnt even expect to fight pacquiao.....

he just doesnt see how both guys would walk away from that kind of money.....and he is right....

Even if you say this will be tune-up fight, I won’t be convinced.

From Floyd to Paulie? From a legit challenge to legit joke?

Either Bradley or Foreman at this point for Pacquaio, if Mayweather is not available.

WHo else can be ready by march?

Neither Mosley nor Berto obviously won't be.

And Bradley will be a tough, gritty match-up for Pac.

Foreman at 154 (no catchweight) will also be tougher than trumpling Paulie's soft face.

and Bob arum said they do not need mayweather and how they have options.LOLOL!!!
No disrespect to paulie, but that's not really a money option. Bob Arum has everyone hypnotized in Manny's favor. Not me though. When most people realize that mayweather doesn't care, then and and only then people will understand how to deal with him. Skill for skill mayweather beatrs him easily. This is boxing, and anything can happen like pac walking away from 40$million to fight Paulie or going to 154 to fight foreman but when mayweather asked he said no. Silly arum, tricks are for kids!!!!

Malignaggi is more saleable to the mainstream non-boxing fans the foreman.....foreman would help manny's legacy...but there is no promotional spin with foreman, just imagine him on the press tour, it be like watching paint dry....

Malignaggi has more mainstream exposure then bradley, even if bradley is the more accomplished fighter....you see where i'm going with this...

I can see you where you are coming from, especially after seeing Paulie as your avatar, but come on...

Paulie as Pac's next fight? The same Paulie who was beaten black and blue by both Cotto and Hatton?

Somehow, we need to make this fight NOT HAPPEN!!!!

it's certainly a step back, but with pac already stating he's going to take 2-3 more fights, i'm thinking if the fight with floyd don't happen it's gotta be a meaningful fight people. i'm guessing he'll probably go for that 154lbs title and possibly floyd afterwards. obviously, the fight with floyd would be highest risk so he might want to leave the best for last and then a farewell fight.

    1. Foreman
    2. Floyd
    3. Farewell fight (perhaps someone he might look good against like Paulie)
I really do think he wants nothing to do with JMM who's got Manny's number and avoid JMM like the plague.

I'm sorry, can't do it. I'd be sorely disappointed, but I love boxing too much...I'd watch, but I wouldn't buy it.

I'm a pulie fan, but no doubt i would much rather watch pacquiao-floyd.....I think gary shaw won't ask for bradley to fight pacquiao for some reason.....

I think a lot of people are upset about the possible pac-malignaggi fight because of how people were so hyped up for floyd-pac....Say if foreman's name was thrown out first or carlos quintana....or another good but not p4p material guy....you would see the outrage over those possible match-ups as well...

I still think malignaggi is a real offer....his name has now circluated like wildfire in the media.....he has had quite a build as of late....the diaz 1 controversy, the post fight rant "boxing is full of ****, every ****ing fight" speech, then won the last televised HBO event of the year, and acted like a showman, then the accusations against pacquiao, pacquiao's fan base hatred for paulie....he is a promotable fight, sure the fight could be disaster, but this is what I think bob arum is thinking...

Also if this is a bluff to get malignaggi's hopes up....it's not working, he doesnt believe at this point he will fight pacquiao....

To be honest, at this point, at 140, Pacquaio would beat Marquez convincingly.
I forget about JMM. Perhaps, it only goes to show I no longer consider this fight with JMM a competitive one.

Malignaggi is an idiot for crying like this about steroids. It's not because it's Pacquiao. It's about looking like a little girl, "oh X fighter is doing too good he's gotta be on roids". That is so whinny and bitchy. You really gotta draw a line.

He doesn't deserve a fight resume wise and because of his crying.
