Floyd Mayweather Jr. makes his home in Las Vegas NV. So it would apear that he has the home field advantage over Manny Pacquiao.

While he has the advantage of sleeping in his own bed the night before the fight. It may not be as big of an advantage as we might think.

First of all Mayweather is not from Las Vegas. he is from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He moved to Vegas because that is where the fights are.

Secondly Manny Pacquiao is no stranger to Las Vegas him self.
His last 6 fights have all been in Las Vegas. The Last 3 at the MGM Grand Where Mayweather/Pacquiao will take place. He has fought in Vegas 11 times in a 55 bout career. In other words he is no stranger to Las Vegas NV.

Mayweather as I all ready stated lives in Las Vegas.
He has fought his last 5 fights in Las Vegas.
In a 40 bout career he has fought in Vegas a total of 15 times.

It is my opinion that while Mayweather has the Home field advantage in Las Vegas. It is not as significant as it might appear.

I honestly think Mayweather's biggest advantage is that he gets to sleep in his own bed the night before.

pac didn't mind dallas as well

only objected to LA coz of their steep taxation

vegas is more floyd's turf than pacs. whether it's an advantage to him if the fight is too close, we don't know yet but he has been given presents by judges before!

Mayweather is the favorite because he has the technical advantages in this fight.....Mayweather has dealt with a style similar to pacquiao, judah.....manny has never faced a fighter that is a defensive mastermind, good movement, and as precise as mayweather....he is the favorite for a reason...

do you have any idea how floyd is wishing now that he fans like them?

that is why he is turning it into a war of nations. that his fellow americans should support him like the filipinos are supporting pacman

i don't think it's much of an advantage. people in lv don't even like this ****. most people watching the fight come and hopes he will end up in a colma.

This isnt the NFL man, their is no home field in Las Vegas unless you are DLH. If this was Juan Diaz in Texas maybe but Pacquiao would have twice the amount of fans atleast if they fight.
