Dana is the King of douchebags, I think its funny he is calling someone else a douchebag haha. I can't wait 'til this ******* disappears forever. What does he have against Mazzagotti now?
he doesn't seem as cool as he is trying to be when you take into account he is saying it all for the camera.
He's got a pretty legitimate beef there, Mazzagotti has been late on a disproportionate number of stoppages; he is going to get somebody hurt.
Every other thing out of Dana White's mouth is some sort of insult. Seems like one of those guys who takes outspokeness to the level of a talkshow host.. It's Jerry Springeresque, and has been ever since his oddball challenge against Tito. I'm pretty sure people wouldn't mind watching him try to box with Tito.
I'm not a huge White fan or anything but I think people are forgetting he started off as a fan, did as much for MMA as anyone, is incredibly passionate but has a good and bad side. He's not an angel but alot of people make him out to be the devil himself.
Nobody forces him to go out and talk **** all the time. The guy seems to just have that sort of, "Ugly American" character. The guy has some interesting things to say, he puts on some great shows, and most of the time I agree with what he has to say about the outcome of fights, his own fighters, etc. He has very high standards for his own people, and that is a great thing about him.. But, the terrible thing about him is that he puts himself at odds with things he doesn't have to. He's one of those types of people who has a need for enemies, arrogant, and absolutely thoughtless at times. The **** he's talked about Couture, Tito, Rampage, Barnett, and Fedor is just idiotic. He was a great usher of MMA to the United States. Nobody can take that away from him. But when it comes right down to it, he's a pos 50% of the time.
I would have disagreed with this a year ago.. But, we have Kimbo on T.V.. Roegan handing out with the Hulkster, and the release of Dan Henderson.. Dan Henderson.. Was he really asking too much? I mean seriously. Who in their right mind lets Dan Henderson go?
:good A fair analysis! I'll be honest with you guys it is only since i've been an ESB member that I have realised just how much he is disliked! I had read some of his "Comments" prior to becoming a member on here, but I just attributed most those to be the passionate words of a fan! The fact is that he has been good for mma but I guess his comments do sometimes make him very difficult to like!!

That is his tell it like it is attitude. He is relatively transparent. He is always talking about all the hot issues in details. I'm not saying I always agree with him i.e. Fedor isn't the best heavyweight. I do agree that he is abrasive, seems to need enemies, puts himself at odds with people etc Don King etc get bad articles written about them all the time, they don't make blogs with them going crazy, they just take it in their stride. However I think that is the passion and tell it like it is character coming through. It is a double edged sword. On one side he tells it like it is, exposes boxing, tells us what is going on but on the other side he feels compelled to be at war, be abrasive etc Sometimes White takes it too far and he'll **** me off but by and large I accept he has his good and bad points BUT doesn't appear to be the devil.
It's also amusing that at least once per season White goes on a tirade against the TUF guys about how he doesn't want the UFC to be viewed in a negative light by the fighters acting inappropriately. i.e. getting into fights inside the house. Yet White, who is the public face of the UFC, comes across as a pathetic, low-brow fool most of the time.
