From 1-3 days or up to 18 months depending on the type of steroid.

Some of the custom steroids have very short half-lifes and can leave the system rather quickly.

And there is a difference between blood and urine tests. Blood tests are more accurate.

The smoke from this is coming for Mayweather Sr.'s crack pipe and the promo fight hype engine playing up all this for extra mainstream attention and promotion.

Well the source isn't a bad one but isn't accurate either, it's no better than the rest so I won't believe this nonsense till I see more sources confirming it.

Tim Smith is a very respetced columnist.

I wish he had named his source though.

Pac fans will cling to any pathetic argument they have left. The wagon is really falling apart.

These arguments are dated and it's becoming clear that Manny is avoiding "random" blood testing and that is the one and only reason if the fight does not happen. Everything else has been agreed to; purse split, gloves, venue, etc etc. Floyd would have an advantage with 10 oz gloves yet agreed to 8 and, in my opinion, would have been justified in requesting a bigger cut.

I'm hoping Manny agrees ASAP and I'm hoping the silence this morning means that there is some last ditch efforts going on behind closed doors.

What part of "contractual negotiations" are you having trouble understanding?

To morons: any marriage can end in divorce. An athlete not using PEDs cannot test positive for PEDs.

    DUH.

Please make sure you're examples make any sense before posting them.

Let's just think for a moment....

IF Pacquiao tests prove to be dirty then what would such a result mean for Boxing? I figure there would be no Mayweather vs Pacquiao then.

I mean, IF it were to be proved steroids were involved, what would that mean for Pacquiao's achievements in the sport? We would not know what fights he was juiced for & what one's he wasn't?

Floyd Mayweather is the biggest star in Boxing atm, but even he could not save the sport from the meltdown it would suffer if a guy like himself or Pacquiao tested positive.

I hope the tests come back GENUINELY clean & then the powers that be, the negotiators, can get back to making this event become a reality. Its not just a fight, its a major extraveganza!
