ODLH is definitely an ATG. 5 weight classes, 6 if you count the Sturm fight; I thought he lost to Sturm. That still doesnt diminish his accomplishments at the lower weight classes. He was one of the most complete fighters in the history of the sport. Power, speed, etc... I see that a few people here started watching boxing not too long ago and think that ODLH's career started then... Hate to break to you, ODLH is/was a bad m*therf*ck3r!!!! Definitely an ATG. By the way, to those that say he lost to Sweet Pea. Pernell didn't want to fight and kept acting like a clown in the ring. ODLH won that fight...
As much as I think Shane is talented ...I had him beat Cotto by 1 point as much as I picked him to beat Oscar when he was just a lightweight the Balco scandal places an asterisk next to those victories. Furthermore, in the boxing community it has been argued that Oscar won the second fight. Oscar is the superior fighter!!! Shane was at the peak of his career and he asked for more money (51+ % of the total purse)to fight Oscar a third time thus killing the fight then Shane fights Vernon only to get his ass handed to him badly twice.
If ATG to you means losing ALL of your biggest fights then you are right buddy. Like I stated before, the buffalo bills went to the super bowl four times and lost ALL of them. Nobody considers that group that went to 4 superbowl an all time great team. Just like ODH who lost all of his big fights should not be considered an ATG. ATG's step up and win when it really matters. ODH DID NOT. get his phallus out of your eye for one second and see that. Oscar WAS good, he had heart, but that dont mean ****.
