I was never an Oscar fan because I thought that there were too much hype about him. I will however give him his due. Oscar fought everyone because he wanted to see how far his talent could take him even; if, as in the eyes of many on this board, he did not succeed, he still has my respect.
As much as i Love Oscar and the fights in his early career , he lost the big ones , and no matter who you are , and what era you fight in , if you lose all of your big fights , then hall of fame yes , but not ATG, sorry Oscar.
Fernando Vargas Pernell Whitaker Rafael Ruelas Tito Trinidad Julio Cesar Chavez Javier Castillejo Ike Quatey Ricardo Mayorga All top fights he has won. The best is a matter of opinion. Now answer me this... Who has had a better string of wins in the last 20 years???? That 4 question marks. :yep:deal
forget all of that ****. What is the biggest fight oscar has won???? Ill give everybody time to boxrec, google, wiki, whatever you damn search engine marathoners. Just answer the damn question.
So let me get this straight. Even though Oscar had a fantastic "early career" as you put it, a great prime, you will discount him from being an ATG based on very few losses towards the end of his career??? U must not like boxing very much if you truly believe that.
I can always rely on you to copy and paste the hell out of a list. You r the man when it comes to that ****. But you still didnt answer the question. I know its a matter of opinion you ass booger, and so is the question you just asked me. But what is YOUR opinion of the biggest fight oscar has won????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Now count those question marks you fruit loop.
And you have the nerve to call somebody a ******. You can discount his ATG status based on him losing ALL of his key fights.
All of those fights imo define Oscar's legacy. Probably not one being better than the other. Copy and paste. The only **** I copy and paste when it comes to boxing is my own posts that I've made. They're just that good. Again, your dumbass has Mosley as an ATG, but said Oscar is nowhere near it. I am yet to hear you give a real answer as to HOW you rank Mosley in the ATG list but not DLH. Saying Mosley beat DLH and Margarito is just plain ******ed, seriously. Oscar is more accomplished, has had more wins, has FOUGHT AND BEAT better opposition, yet your dumbass doesn't have him.... You're stupid, plain and simple.
He has Shane Mosley and Roy Jones Jr. in there, but doesn't have Mayweather or Oscar De La Hoya. Go figure. He's a dumbass.
Im not sure what your point is here ? He was 27 when losing to lightweight Shane Mosley, this is hardly towards the end of career , and why would that mean i dont like boxing ? If you look at the build up to Oscars Career he mainly won WBO titles against older names , with the odd gift decision such as Whittaker. Maybe you should understand the history before pointing fingers?
The fighter makes the belt. The belt doesn't make the fighter. He lost to Mosley at 147 in 2000. One loss against a great fighter. So what?? Tell me one fighter who has a better resume than the one below. Fernando Vargas Pernell Whitaker Ricardo Mayorga Javier Castillejo Arturo Gatti John John Molina Rafael Ruelas Jesse James Leija Tito Trinidad Ike Quartey Jorge Paez Julio Cesar Chavez Hector Camacho I just want you to tell me who in the last 20 years has a better resume than him.
In otherwords, you dont wanna say which fight was his biggest win because you know you would sound stupid as hell for even attempting to. shyyyyyyyyyd. Yea Mosley actually stepped up to the plate and WON some of his biggest fights. Can you say the same for ODH's punk ass? (you dont have to answer that, I only put one question mark behind it.) If by this you mean has the better ability to attract fan boys and nuthuggers and lady fans who think he looks like a boy band member then yes, you are right. Looks like he is also accomplished act attracting fans such as yourself who embrace mediocrity. Man please kill yourself, you are as big a fraud as he is.
